For free he's a good signing I think. I'm hoping we will be bringing in a couple more strikers, Yakubu probably being one of them.

If he's played down the centre and we can supply him I think he'll score goals. It will be nice to get our first signing in anyway.

 

Bert says Nugent is done deal and Yakubu will join before the season starts.

He is rarely wrong.

 

I think Nugent would be a good signing as a free transfer.

Yeah, I'm surprised that most of this information has come through fourthofficial and not one of the more usual channels like the Mercury or Stringer who's very quiet on this one. However, I doubt fourthofficial would be that naive about it and announce it like that without being in the know.

 

That fourth official does seem to know.

Anyway it's Bert I'm trusting and he says he'll be unveiled in the next few days. Don't worry about Nugent.

I think Stringer must be on holiday.

Nothing other than stuff we already know about by now apart from that. But Nugent is definitely happening

 

Scratch that part about him being a scout, he's just said he was pulling everyone's leg

But from previous experiences he does know his stuff

 

I'm hearing that he's contracted with Portsmouth until 1st July, so maybe that's the delay. I'm hoping we don't have to wait that long

 

Looks like he may be going to either Swansea or QPR unless SGE has some special pulling power.
