Nugent to Sheff Wed?

Nothing concrete, but a friend of my missus who is close to a couple of the players has heard this.

If he is not in the squad versus Sunderland, then maybe there's something in it.

Fair play, I'm a massive Nuge fan, but he probably won't feature much this season.

 

Far too good for them, they really are shocking

 

I wouldn't expect him to be in the squad anyway, hes the new Wood with Okazaki coming in.

Though it isn't confirmed, he'll help them stay up and will probably get a longer contract than hes currently on.

 

They wont pay his wages. Rumour that he and Danny Simpson are training with the development squad.

 

Simpsons training with the first team, was talking with Wes on Mon at least.

 

I hope not, Wednesday being my local club I can confirm they are shocking, he could do a lot better and I still think he would be part of our plans. Got plenty of game-time in pre-season too, but I'd respect him if he wanted to play football, as he doesn't seem the sort to happily sit on the bench, and he'd still offer a lot to any Championship side.

I hope he stays, he will have plenty to offer especially if the other strikers don't step up this season.
