Sven has said today that David Nugent is close to returning from his injury. We have been dying to see Nugent and Beckford up front together and now that isnt too far away. He might be available for Sunday but if he isnt then he will play some part against Middlesborough. I have a feeling that it will be Vassell, Beckford and Nugent as a front 3. I hope not but that's what I reckon.
Mind you, interesting comment from Mills about formations in the Merc today: "We feel we have settled on a formation that works for us, and if we can reach the heights we set against Brighton then we will be a match for anyone in this league." Hopefully that's a sign that we will stick with the diamond.
