That is a good thing but I have to say I don't think he is going to say anything mind blowing. I think we know the reasoning already though.

I actually don't have a problem with all this on a purely objectionable level. NUFC are a lemonade standard club and Rafa wants prosecco money. Not champagne money but enough to not battle relegation. It was never gonna work because our owner isn't interested in putting money in or saddling the club with debt.

 

It's pretty straightforward:
Ashley not selling and will not give Rafa funds to strengthen team ie 17th place is fine every year but not good enough for Rafa and who can blame him.

I think it might be more down to the fact that Rafa wanted longer than a 1 year contract. He, much like the rest of us fans doesn't want to be sat here in a years time doing and saying the same things. He's with us in the respect that he wants stability at the cloob.

Cue new owners coming in and offering Rafa a 5 year deal and a blankety blank (blank) cheque book and pen. Ashley has only ever given him the pen !

 

And then charged him £1 for it...

Well we do have a particularly difficult situation. All the other clubs either have the ability to borrow money and/or an owner willing to just chuck good money after bad. You need one or both. Its why I laughed when our amateur mathematicians got all excited when Ashley said he would allow all funds generated to be spent. The **** knew that amounted to **** all in the grand scheme of the PL. They started saying we are generating 100's of millions like we are a unique case
