NUFC Injuries this season

A family member had this on his facebook wall the other day.

I can't be bothered to look into each one to see how long or for how many games each injury kept the player out for, but just reading this list alone is scary **** !

I don't necessarily tend to agree with the approach of blaming this list on our piss poor season, but when you look at the size of the list and also the key players that have been out, you've gotta agree that it's had some bearing.

Perhaps if we stay up and Pards keeps his job he should print this off and take it to Fat Mike and use it as proof that we need to strengthen the squad....with some PURPLE players, not players like Abeid, Moyo and ****ing Amalfitano !

The lack of effort and a inept manager does not help the cause either

 

ive always , been crittcal about nufc and keeping players fit ..this just shows ..how bad it is ... it goes past the realms of been profesional club .. and pro s been involved .

it happens every season ..even if we have a small squad .. ok we need a bigger squad this could help .


still some things are not right .. the first thing needed is changes cause its getting stupid now

 

truly shocking

 

I wonder how much is down to poor fitness/medical work though. We never had this scale of problems last season. Seems to suggest we just asked too much of a small squad and then bought a load of new players who have had to learn about the pace of the game at the deep end and suffered physically.

 

20 hamstring injuries seems way over the top for super fit pro's. Think we need to look at our entire medical team.

 

This list is just ridiculous. It must be partly down to the training regime.

There's some kind of injury curse in the north-east cause it's not just this season. year after year injury after injury.

In my capacity as a sports coach with a considerable understanding of nutrition I believe the blame lies squarely with the club's dietitian, why on earth would you feed highly tuned sportsmen stringy ham. It's a recipe for this type of injury...

 

They destroy race horses when they get injured, maybe they should do that with footballers and they may not get injured so much, or at least not for as long as they do now.
