We have been reported to the Premier League for our actions regarding the potential signing of Elliot. We have been reported because of the public statements we made after the 100K bid was rejected. Does anyone have a link to the statements we made? Also what's the punishment if we are found guilty?

Only we could put in an insulting bid for a player we don't need and get reported to the Premier league over it!

As the days go on it's getting more and more obvious that Pardew doesn't have a clue. Last week he promised a left back would be in for the 5under1and game and thats just the latest one of his blatant lies!

Pardew has no say on transfers, same way as Hughton, Keegan and others before him haven't. Transfers are controlled by the owner.

That being the case you'd think Pardew might stop opening his mouth making promises (edit; or bold statements rather) then wouldn't you?

I'm sure Pardew has faith in his own smile. If he keeps smiling at Mike it may work, after all it has worked in the pa- oh.. wait.

    Can see it now:

It wouldn't surprise if the hierarchy had done this deliberately to get a transfer ban, just so they had an excuse for not spending the Carole Cash. It's not against the fortunately, it ****ing should be though, especially with the way Man City have used the media to tap up Lescott/Aguero/Nasri.

    Last I heard; he hinted...

Keep 'em in suspense as Hitchcock would have said.
