Don't think it's right to hide away after a result like this, I'm interested in hearing your lads genuine thoughts on the game beyond "we were class you were ****e". So get through your abuse and banter then talk about the match ha. I won't bore you with mine as you'll have heard it from every one of your Newcastle mates, I'll just leave this video which sums it up well. Quite Ironic that a few Geordie salad dodgers calling Mike "Fat"......... They do look upset tho' LMFAO
Okay my genuine thoughts on Nrewcastle yesterday. 1) pre match run up very poor, sold your best player, then lost Remy which for me wasn't a red card. So perpetration for Pardew must have been hard. Also collo out didn't help. 2) however I think Pardew got it wrong. He seemed to have opted for direct football. O'shea and brown easily dealt with high punts to shola. At times the back four were panicking and just lumping it long to nobody? Taylor did it a couple of times first half. Our middle three did very well to stop you playing through the middle. Particularly Colback. 3) you could see your team lacked goals. Shola has had his time. Couldn't see who was going to score for you. 4) Gus is a very good football manager who knows how he wants to play and he is getting us organised. Newcastle looked totally the opposite. Are these derbies too much for Pardew? 5) your season is pretty much over but it allows your club a lot of time to plot and prepare for next season. Clearly you are a better side than you showed yesterday. By the way your fullbacks were terrible yesterday. I think Southampton will pass you in the league but see you finishing 9 th comfortably.
Huge monkey on your back for the derbies next season. You must be desperate for us to stay up for revenge.
