Absolutely one of the best these boys..

Ginger Baker and Keith Moon, in my eyes the best ever drummers ever with Corky Laing not far behind...

Jack Bruce is simply one of the best musicians ever imo..

Enjoy and try and explain what the 'White Room" was if you can? :emoticon-0107-sweat:emoticon-0125-mmm:.. The oldies might know this like..

I have never been one for easy listening in the 'bread' mode but I respect your choice..<ok>

With me it was always about the drums, base and lead with good vocals and for me 'The Cream' were along with Peter Greens early Fleetwood Mac the ambassadors of this in the late 60's early 70's

This might interest you, Joe. Do you remember the pretty much easy listening 'Chicago'? Well, they weren't always that way. They were originally called Chicago Transit Authority, and, particularly in drums, christ they could shift a bit!. This is 'Beginnings' from their first album, released in 1968. The drums really warm up from about the half-way mark. Have a listen.

New Wave is my genre, but I do appreciate a wide range of music, and often tune into classical radio channels when working night..

The Groundhogs were a very good live band, they backed John Lee Hooker one time .

The stand out one man musician was Jethro Tulls Ian Anderson - a enigmatic flautist songwriting one off imo
But as had been covered in this thread so many great rock blues bands & musicians in 60 - 80's -
Jethro Tull first name painted on my school haversac - total class group imo
