Well with the season starting like last, now what is going to happen, i dont think we can survive untill christmas with millen, do we act after the leicester game when we still have 0 points, or hang in untill christmas and see what happens

David James??? do we play him again, or do we try gerken for the cardiff game, james was getting some boo's by the eastend yesterday, so i think now is the time for us to put gerken back in goal and have james as back up

defence? Will millen finnally get the message and bring us in a LB and a CB that we have needed since our wembely defeat

kilkenny and cisse, will he play the players that will break down attacks and make goals, or will he chose to play skuse again

pitman. when we signed him he was a striker not a left sided player, our top goal scorer last year and yet he puts him on the left side

jcr why was he getting the ball on the right then bringing it into the middle

so many Q. that need answering is keith the man to answer them, i think not :emoticon-0149-no:

Keep the faith shiny, yes we got beat yesterday but on chances created glimpses of killkenny we will be ok. Never been a fan of millen but he's the gaffer so he must be given 10 games at least. Maynard needs to either sign or go he didnt look like his head was right yesterday (thanks sven) but even saying that he could have had a couple, James ok trying to take the mick out of chopra was suicide but boy how we would have cheered if it had worked, midfield killkenny should have played instead of skuse up front pitman and maynard should score us the goals. Personally back 4 didnt look too bad 2 through balls that should have been cut out in midfield led to goals (and 2 james mistakes), but all in all yes dissapointed but enough signs to make me believe that we will win more than we lose this season, as i said keep the faith!

We've got to go with him Shiny for at least 10 to 15 games but keep the pressure up,with regard to David James, have no doubt he's one of our better players and doesn't hide in the shadows.

Why Millen put Stead and Pitman on the left god only knows, why he signs Kilkenny our star for the midfield and doesn't select him god only knows, why Cisse is not being played god only knows, why our squad can't be reduced by loans or contract buy outs god only knows and why we are still waiting for a centre half god only knows.

We pay a man a big wage to do that job and it's not happening...

Strangely I thought our defence was not actually the problem yesterday. They weren't at all helped by the useless midfield ahead of them. Skuse tracked well, put a few big tackles in and looked pretty impressive when going forward in the first half. Better range of passing than seen previously. AA and NM need an absolute rocket after that performance, seemed lazy and didn't help anyone. Kilkenny and Marv would not work, NK didn't look comfortable going for tackles and marv doesn't have the positional awareness to cover him if he doesn't get his man. It has to be Cisse or Skuse holding.

Our entire team need to learn to move into space and help the man in possesion. At one point yesterday JCR was stuck on the left with three town players around him and absolutely noone helped him. Macca needs competition but had a good game against JET and marked him out the game.

Why do we wait 10 games to make a decission, are we going to write another season off! Keith said judge him on his own team, where are the changes that we were waiting for a new CB, LB yes we got the midfielder but did not play him till we were 3 nil down.
What I have noticed with Keith (who I did want to succeed) is once we fall behind he don't seem to know how to get his team working again, sitting in the stands there was no confidence that we will get back into the game, which is strange because we were the team in control before their goal.
I would like a manager who will get the team to believe in themselves and unfortunately I don't think Keith is the man. Dave Jones is one that could come in and change things, he is used to this level and is available now!

Wize - why do we have to wait? Can't we all see that it is blindingly obvious that no progress is being made? If you keep doing the same old things you can't expect the outcome to be any different can you. His team selections are a bit bizarre at times and the signings he has made haven't really improved the first team - Kilkenny mght but he didn't even pick him.

I understand that politically the board might want to be seen to behave reasonably and give Keith a chance. But if the season continues the same way it did last year the crowds will melt away - so they can't really afford to wait can they? I agree that Dave Jones would be a good change - and a change is what we need.

Also - why does James get away with dropping so many rickets? It seems like people just shrug and say that he's always done it so it isn't a surprise. Yes he pulls of some good saves but so would Gerken - and Basso arguably did so on a more regular basis.

Look at the turmoil of last season,I honestly don't think the club, players or fanbase wants to go through that again and then end up saying ,"what if."

I honestly believe a period of 10 games minimum for him to sink or swim and then there is honour on all sides,we can all move forward together in harmony and the club will still have time to make a fist of the season if it is deemed necessary.

I'm not one of the Keefers, never have been but the majority opinion was, give him a pre-season and 10 games, what with the year he has had that should be enough time to see if he has got it,at the moment he ain't and there are 9 games to go..:emoticon-0103-cool:

there is still plenty of time left of the transfer window. soon the prem teams will have to select their squad of 25 so there will be plenty of top players available on loans or cheap transfers. maybe he is waiting for the right time. you may get another caulker type to come and save you. give him a chance. surely he has deserved that chance?

    Cardiff fan,

Well we don`t expect any easy games and I am sure you will be looking for a win against us.

During the season all teams will go through bad patches and we can only concentrate on the next game. We cannot change the result but that`s what football is about hoping to win.

Should come here the manager gets to an FA cup final a play off final and then the play offs and gets sacked.

Realistically we have to give him a chance. I genuinely hope the guy does well and that we have a good season. As previously said, we have to wait til at least 10 games before making a decision. Who knows where we will be in the league by then. And anyway, no manager of worth would even consider taking the job here for a moment if we're seen to kick KM out too soon. SL is not bankrolling the club to the same extent without players leaving, any new manager will have the same restraints.

We can complain about tactics and the selection of players already at the club. Unfortunately, and I feel sorry for Millen, we cannot spend as much this season as we have previously so it is not as easy to get new players in.

I noticed that KM gave his game report message today. What a shame he doesn't get the message that we all know he needs!

    Act NOW......
Unless you are happy for a repeat performance of last season.
Maybe difficult to believe but I did want Keef to do well.......but it ain't gonna happen.
OK it's reported that he has his hands tied in referance to transfers but I believe with the players we have, the right manager would get more from them.
I just hope that SL will dip into his pocket one more time.
A GOOD manager is required to move us on, if we wait, League 1 is truly on the cards

hi this is my 1st post on here , i am a massive david james fan and was really shocked at the manner of the goals yday, the over reaction is understandable , comments like he is past ,drop him are sheer frustration, the game v wba a week ago fans were saying opposite , yesterday he was very angry during his warmup mostly directed at stuart naylor for his poor service. this is a very important to his frame of mind , dropping him after the 1st game of the season would be a massive gamble on two points, firstly i dont think dean gerken is fully fit as he didnt strike any balls during the warmup (which is why naylor did all the crossing in jamos warmup) so he must be nursing his groin back to full strengh .secondly if deano is fit (?) and plays and has a stinker what happens next ?drop him?,i am not a manager( i coach keepers at a semi pro club from the age of 7 to the senior keepers ) but u hope that u are given the chance to put things right and prove that millen was right to pick you in the first place. To me there are more pressing problems to be adressed like getting players playing in there strongest positions and getting the right balance
