The fact in quote £5 mill is a joke, treble it at least but in today's market, no less than £20/25 mill!

At this stage of the market, no chance, no fee can do it. We can never replace him at this stage

Yeah I hate this transfer deadline business, bids come in, player puts in a transfer request, team then have to scramble for a replacement, that target puts in a transfer request and so it goes on. Let's hope that we turn off our phones and fax machines!

Both signed new contracts in the summer

Only players i can see leaving are Danny Simpson. Wasilewski and Hammond might go if we bring in more players and I think Moore will go out on loan

Since the owners took over we havent sold anyone who we wanted to keep. £5M for Mahrez is laughable

Especially when you consider we sold Nugent for £4M!

Everyone seems to be overlooking the possibility that Mahrez might want his shot at the big time. The new contract signing just means we'd get a big fee - certainly bigger than £5m!

Arsene - if you are reading this - Mahrez is better than de Bruyne. However, if you throw in Ramsey and Chambers with the five mill, we may consider it.

Mahrez is more important to us than £5m at this point in time. And that's a derisory offer for the league's top scorer!
His interview recently suggested he's very happy with his progression under Ranieri. Give it 12 months, put a zero on the end Arsene & then we'll think about it <whistle>
I'd be very surprised if we considered selling. As stated previously, we haven't sold anyone we didn't want to keep, going back to the likes of Mills, Beckford. Or we've sold as they weren't going to feature much or werent going to get us to that next level we're now aiming at, Wood, Nugent.

Arsenal have confirmed their desire but there isnt a chance that they will be paying his valuation, in my opinion about £25m.

In valuations you need to also think about form and ability to replace - he is bang in form, dont need to sell and very late in the window.
