I've got tickets for the next hammers game, albeit sitting in the VIP with some hammers mate, would love us to walk away with 3 points
What a difference a few weeks makes eh ?? Many on here said we should be buying players to prepare for the Championship Do any still think this is what we should be doing ?? Just curious if this run has changed a few minds yet
I still believe this to be an almighty gamble. I hope to God it pays off because if it doesn't, we're fu*ked. Still, we have a slim chance of survival.
Fair enough Swords BUT do you think it's the right or wrong thing to do ?? Personally I don't think it's that much of a gamble and it benefits both the players AND the club....and IMHO we are far from f***** if we go down. Hope we don't have to find out who was right on that one mate
I don't think the belief of the fans can be underestimated. The fans are starting to think it's possible. I reckon Harry even needed some convincing but I think he can envision survival now. The players are forming into a team and are growing in confidence and the owners have seen enough to back their man. The foundations are there for a thrilling season - all the pieces are falling into place. Expect brilliance, expect mediocrity at times, expect it to be close, expect turbulence and the unexpected - we are QPR...
One of them on the radio tonight said it was the first time we had knocked a PL Club out of the FA Cup since Hammers in 1995! Skål!
Love the positivity Dens, lets hope it becomes totally infectious. Hell, an epidemic Rangers alert! Rangers alert!
It's all very encouraging and pleasing. Happy daze. But I'm some way from feeling that relegation is still not the most likely outcome. There's a lot to do. So these new signings and the financing around them does seem to come with a lot of risk attached.
I agree with you mate BUT planning for the championship in December (as many on here were doing) is, IMHO, bollox. We are nowhere near out of this yet and it's still a very strong possibility, but I would rather go down fighting than give up so early.
I don't know about others but I was advocating buying players who would stay for even if we went down, not giving up, rather not buying merc type players on short term contacts which I still believe is correct. Again, I'll say if Harry keeps us by going the other way up I'll happily eat my words.
