Full of promise this young chap, appears to know the score... From YEP: Former Leeds United director Simon Morris was found guilty today of ordering a bodyguard to intimidate his former business partner into repaying a loan. Morris wanted ârevengeâ against Hedley Manton after their relationship soured and he found himself heavily in debt, Newcastle Crown Court was told. He instructed Johnathon Ashworth, a doorman described by police as having âbiceps that appeared to be the size of an average manâs thighsâ, to secure the return of £100,000 he had lent Mr Manton to help to buy a house, which the businessman had refused to repay following the collapse of a Leeds-based student property firm they both had owned. Morris, 34, had denied a charge of conspiracy to commit blackmail between March 1 and April 1, 2009.
