Who the devil can we get on loan??

Both Van Aanholt and Kakuta left Chelsea yesterday, which is sad cos they both could have been realisitic possibilities and done a decent job for us.

Sticking with the Chelsea thread (who SC was quick to boast about his new best friend relationship status with AVB!), Bertrand has been mentioned a few times, and would be good cover for the wing back area.

Who I would really like SC to go after would be McCechran (or however you spell it), as he was close to the first team apparantly at stamford bridge (maybe not with meireles there now) and could really be the creative spark we so desparately need!

Cant really think of anybody else. Cheeky load bid for Oxlade-Chamberlain anyone?!

    Thoughts?

How about Oriol Romeu- a 19 year old recently signed by Chelsea from Barcelona. With the midfield Chelsea have, and their other new signing Juan Mata, maybe they would consider loaning him Out ?? I guess we could lodge a bid for Lukaku- but I think due to the fact he is higher in the pecking order than Salomon Kalou; maybe a bid for Kalou could prove successful- now that would be a dream Signing !! If the other two fail- I would certainly still welcome Ryan Bertrand <ok>

Out of all of the above mentioned bertrand would be the most realistic. Although I'm sure he will be used as cover for Ashley cole this season. I also think VB has mentioned before that Romeu could feature for Chelsea this season due to the serious injury to essien. I can't see us loaning anyone from Chelsea, not the names that have been mentioned anyway.

I don't think arsenal will consider loaning out chamberlain due to the lack of depth in their squad, and I think wenger will want to keep him around to develop him in the same way as Walcott. Not that he would ever come to us anyway.

I think we will get Chris herd in from villa and also have a feeling that we might see a player from Stoke come in. Maybe Ryan shotten. Sc seems to have a good relationship with Stoke had a few loans last season etc and with stoke buying a few players the other day there might be a couple of good players who might not make the 25 man squad.

Once the Premier League sides name their 25 man squads we'll have a better idea of who is available from our top flight friends.

QPR have a few- Hogan Ephraim left out of the 25, as is Petter Vaagan Moen, a Norwegian (maybe Erik can convince him to come <laugh>) left winger- he might be quite good.

Danny Pugh & Michael Tonge of Stoke as well <ok>
