Posts from WOTB today... âWhy the f*** is everyone moaning? FFS - our target was 17th and we've only missed it by one f**king place! Miserable bastardsâ, âWeâre moaning because we are Utter F***ing S*** to watch week in week out.â âThanks NCFC, thanks for nothing. You couldnât even be bothered in the last home game - shame on you. Itâs just laughable how all this has been allowed to happen by people who donât seem to careâ, âWe donât even look remotely close to scoring. The players donât deserve any applause at the end of the game.â âA new manager and we are still playing for the 0-0... Bizarre.â Canaries were resigned to their fate after Sunderlandâs midweek victory, but today they were frustrated that their team did not put up much of a fight in their last home game in the top flight. âThis is utter s*** from Norwich again. I would have thought they'd give it a go today. They had nothing to lose and still canât be bothered. Iâm really NOT going to miss football now the seasons over, we've been served up utter s*** for far too long.â Several fans believe that an unambitious board had given up the ghost in the last couple of games and were playing for league position prize money. âSurely we had to go for win in the last 10 minutes?â âIt was more like avoiding losing more money by ending up bottom.â âItâs safe to say we are not coming back up. A massive rebuild is required. We need a manager to instil the siege mentality team ethic that Lambert didâ, âThe confidence of many appears shattered. We need a big character to turn them round get them believing and fighting again. Some of these players are better than their showingâ âItâs surely safe to say Neil Adams won't get job. Heâs totally out of his depthâ, âIâm not impressed with how Adams has been setting up the team. Itâs just bizarre.... it's as if the game against Liverpool scared him. I definitely donât want him to get the job. If he gets it, the board show no ambition.â âAdams tactics are being slated on Soccer Sunday. Last week they were unanimously critical. They said it was ironic we sacked Hughton for being cautious, yet we still didn't go for a win (against Chelsea). The consensus was the club lack ambition and that Adams would be the new boss.â âIt's not just about the manager. It's about the board. The whole club has gone desperately stale and is very, very tired. We need new investment (God knows where from) and new ideas. Delia Smith is 72 now. She can't go on forever. So what's the plan here?â Despite their deplorable performances on the pitch, most Budgies pin responsibility for the fiasco on the directors. âPart of me wants us to lose 5 or 6-nil now, just to force the board to do somethingâ, âWell done Paul Lambert. You were spot on to walk away from such a gutless board.â The abject failure of the Budgies strike force this season has caused deep anger and resentment. âWell Done Chris Hughton! £14 million plus signing fees etc., plus wages for two strikers. At least one of them is good enough to make the bench. Really Well Done Chris!â âThe unholy trinity succeeded in coaching every last grain of attacking intent or ability out of this team. Fair play to them, that's no easy feat. It takes a really special type of f***wit to provide that sort of master class.â Gary Hooper was benched and Ricky Van Wolfswinkel dropped altogether for todayâs game, with the Dutchman rumoured to have stormed out of the ground. âRicky can f*** off. I don't want to ever see him in a Norwich shirt again.â âThanks for the memories Wolfie. I feel sorry for all those who bought the shirtâ, âWolfal gets what he deserves â F*** off!â âNo matter he injured or not, 37 games, 1 goal for a striker? He had the same goal tally as the Stoke Goalkeeperâ, âWhen can we sell the donkey?â The Dutchman wasnât the only player being slated today. âSnoddy is passionate, hardworking and more. Itâs a shame he canât passâ, âMartin was terrible, and Howson was invisible as usualâ, âRedmonds quite s*** really, isnât he? The problem is he is a winger who doesnât like to cross.â âI'm more pissed off with how this particular relegation happened than the one when we went down to Division One. We almost had it all, yet itâs been allowed to slip through our fingers.â Most Budgies are philosophical about their catastrophic campaign, but one or two are looking to put a positive gloss on the season, and a few more are even wishing for the return of old heroes. âWe were still only a few points off mid-tableâ, âHow about getting Lambert back next season and Holt player-coach to help Ricky?â âThe only sad thing is Grant Holt not being here anymore. We would have probably stayed up with him.â âWhat happened at the lap of thanks? Did the team show their appreciation to the fans post match?â âYep. There was a low key, quick shuffle around the pitch, gone. They made the best of an awkward situation.â âThe team got relegated because of the players brought in. The "fresh new blood we need" flopped. They weren't good enough.â
Oh can this season get any better! hope nobody stood on wolfies toe, he had turf toe if you didn't know.
You seem somewhat obsessed judging from the original post. Why not go out for a beer instead of trawling Norwich fan sites?
Do you mean that after three years of you lot playing'Charlie big spuds' we should let you sob in the corner quietly with your tear stained yellow and green face paint without getting a little payback..........I don't think that's how it works...
While i respect your opinion kempy, you don't have to open it.its all about choices, same as if you don't agree with a tv programme.
Bet you Binners would love to have had 3 years in the prem though. I have no problem with the banter, it's part of the deal. But remember things are cyclical and our time will come to repay your kind comments at this time, hopefully in the coming season.
If our nearest (geographic) rivals can't have a dig when we're relegated, what's the point in forums? That said, some of the drivel that has been posted barely deserves the term WUMing, it's just pathetic!
I cannot believe the good old binner boys havent got anything better to do with their time. PS Cresswell to West Ham is a done deal. Did that air banner thing come off in the end? It would be funny if it did or was that all talk as usual?
The air banner was called off yesterday afternoon due to predicted wind speed over Norfolk, I believe that all money raised will be (or already has been) donated to the SBR Foundation...enjoy your relegation, treacle.
