That's your highly trained political opinion is it? You're a ****wit, I wouldn't trust you to control one arm independent of the other. Never mind comment rationally on an independence debate.
Know what I want? A grown up debate where both sides put forward the positives of their cases and possible drawbacks of the other side, instead we'll get bombarded with bullshit scare tactics from Westminster, the Nats will go on about London bullying, bla bla bla. You should get onto FF
It's going to be ****e. Already the right-wing, London press are at it with their doom mongering about how we're incapable of running our own country. And the SNP are trying to turn it into a battle of personalities and emotions rather than discussing the issues. Such is modern politics though.
Anyone else get the feeling that Cameron isn't too concerned about keeping the Union? He's not a stupid person yet he keeps walking into Salmond's big gaping traps, such as saying that only Westminster has the legal authority to decide the details of the referendum and that it's his Tory government's prerogative to do so. It's probably more likely to be a 'no' vote if Cameron was to come out in favour of 'yes' which is why I find it strange that Cameron is so vocal about his own position at this point.
Lord Forsyth was in last weeks Sunday Times saying he was alarmed that some Tory MP's were willing Scotland to go it alone, as they feel that they'd be in power forever, if they never had 50 Labour MP's coming doon the road from Scotchland.
