It's almost certainly a load of Bollocks. There was a story at the Wknd that Real were interested and that we had quoted £35mm. The story said that Real declined, but that they could be back with a Diarra + cash offer. £12mm??? Their having a laugh. If you're going to invent stories, then at least make them credible!

Villareal are not giants here in Spain, by any means. They are a small/medium sized club from the Valencia area who, to be fair to them, frequently punch above their weight. But, giants, they ain't.
