No! No! No!.................this is excatly the wrong time to bring in the young players wholsale!! Reid, edwards, Bryan and amadi Holloway are good propspects but our situation calls for expereinced heads, albeit players that are under pressure and under performing, but they have been here before and got out of it. Should these youngsters be thrown into the relegation dogfight they could be damaged forever........................patients is needed and...always believe!

The mind of a child and .....................................the fabric of the future comes from youthful endeavour...................

If a child is told no dont do that, dont do this, dont try that he will mostly grow up negatively or try things on the sly one eye over his shoulder and fail to do it, or do it properly...in the 50's 60's (70's ) kids were never or mostly never watched over like hawks, as 3-9 year old I and a great number of my similar age group used to spend weekends and school holidays cooking beans sausages potatoes on a campfire, climbing trees, making baling string into rope to string across or to swing from branches on the river bank of the river Brue, nearest parent, a mile away......odd cut or bruise no serious injuries.........

Our armed forces is an example of the second point.......we all know the good job they do.

So now is the time to integrate the youth, not all in one game but I would start by having at least 2 feature in the starting line up.starting with the game on Saturday................

We're already in the relegation spots with our current first team, which is why we should start dropping players and start putting people in that are hungry to impress.

Answer me this. If we're not going to play our academy players then what's the point in even having an academy in the first place? We'd save a ton of money by completely scrapping it and spending that money on transfers.

These 'experienced' heads have landed us, with McInnes's help, in the ****.
I don't advocate playing all the youngsters mentioned but I'd argue with anyone that Bobby Reid deserves a run of games - certainly instead of Morris.

I agree that bobby Reid should be given a go.

A healthy mix of youth and experience is always a good balance, put him in a creative position and let him do what he's good at, and thats not gonna be winning aerial battles or making last ditch goal saving tackles..

So far AD, you are in a minority of one and that won't change following my post.

I am tired of hearing about our fragile youth and how they might get damaged - quite frankly, balls to that...

They literally can't do any worse than our "experienced" current first team squad and on the contrary, they would play without fear and inject a bit of life and energy into our completely static midfield.

Look at home many teams are playing their young talent now but for some reason, supporters in Bristol seem to think that ours are too delicate to feature. Load of old crap, stick them in...
