After the performances against Blackburn and Liverpool, I thought 'That's it, we've been found out. We need major surgery if we are to have any chance of surviving next year'. After the Spurs game, and now this, I'm thinking we have some great players and we only need to strengthen. We have been incredibly erratic lately. What do people think? (I'm just glad that I'm not the person having to make the decision and that Lambert is.)
We'll just improve the squad in turn as we has done every season It's not a question of being found out, believe in the team, this is the best Norwich team in generations
I think we will have some of Suffolk's finest football brains coming along soon to tell us what has been going wrong in the last month and what needs to be done next season
Fans jump to the crisis camp too easily "we've been found out" isn't a term that makes sense, particularly for Norwich How many variations of formations/personnel can we field? How can you find out that. Lambert will add some serious quality in the summer, he already knows what we need, he knew two years ago because he, and his team, are nothing short of football boffins. Let the good times roll
Yes, the team needs strenghtening in the context of our financial abilities. As said before, the PL is very tight, we could easily be 7th or 8th, but we could also easily have a few points less and nearer the danger zone. Not sure what's confusing.
i don't think we shall see the numerous new faces that we have seen for the last three seasons (one by gunny and two by PL) as it will be very expensive to have a major overhaul. i would expect about three or four permanent signings and maybe just one loan, keeping the second loan option for january, in case of any major injury crisis.
A lot will depend on Macca and the board for next season. I remember talk about increased capacity which would take a lot of the money. I hope they shelve plans for now and let the manager go out and buy what he wants.
