Here we go again, another monthly review from this season. We have reached November!

After finishing October on the biggest high possible, beating Sunderland 5-1, we travelled to Arsenal. A tough trip, an expected defeat seemed to be on the cards but who cares? We beat Sunderland. So, Arsenal were pushing for the title, would clearly beat Newcastle at home! We obviously didn't read the script.

Under a lot of pressure in the first half, a great save from Krul kept us in it, and then right on half time, a floating free kick from Barton was met by Andy Carroll, making up for not scoring in the derby by beating the keeper in the air and putting us 1-0 up at the Emirates, fantastic for the away end and I am sure all Toon fans all around the world.

However, everyone still expected Arsenal to get back into it. Tiote was dominating the midfield once again, Arsenal hit the post and a few good saves from Krul kept us ahead. We weren't creating anything to be fair, but a fantastic defensive display wasn't given enough credit. The only chance we had was on 90 minutes when Ranger was through on goal from the right hand side. He was brought down by Laurent Koscielny and thus, the Arsenal defender was given his marching orders. Massive celebration amongst the away end, the derby win was fantastic, but this was a close second, we had won at the Emirates! Officially back in the Premier League...

Why did I say that? Blackburn at home, another **** up against a **** team. A mistake from Tiote gifted Pedersen an early goal. We had lost the last 4 at home to Blackburn, a terrible record which didn't look like ending.

An early equaliser in the second half, another assist from Barton for Carroll, a cracking header into the far top corner got us back it.

Pedersen bumped into Barton, and Barton did what everyone has wanted to do to that little **** for ages, however, it was in the wrong environment. He wasn't caught by the referee, but was later given a 3 match ban. To make things worse, Williamson fell over, Roberts pounced, 2-1 Blackburn. 5 defeats in a row at home to that ****!

A chance to put things right a few days later at home to Fulham. 0-0, **** again, really ****ing annoying. Less said about this the better.

I wish I could say less about this one! We travelled to Bolton, no Tiote as he had picked up 5 yellows so Alan Smith was in midfield. Nolan gifted his former club a penalty, a stupid handball, I have never been more angry with him than this moment in time. 1-0. 2-0 just before half time. Just after half time, 3-0. Carroll got one back. Elmander made it 4-1, Davies made it 5. To make things worse, Coloccini was sent off for an elbow on Elmander. Williamson was also given a 3 match ban after this game for a 'headbutt' on Elmander, ****ing bollocks was it! We were back in deep ****!

Chelsea at home next to finish the month. We got off to a great start, another Carroll goal, this one a fluke after a mix up in the Chelsea defence. We were playing well, but Chelsea got one back just before half time through Kalou.

Second half, we had a couple of headers and a few half chances but nothing major, same from the Chelsea side. They had a goal disallowed for offside but a draw was a fair result.

It was a decent point, but things were just not right after Bolton, and things were about to take a turn for the worse in the next monthly report...I hope you are looking forward to re-living some more NUFC moments!

Apart from the Arsenal result, I think November was our biggest lowpoint this season.

Never realised we'd lost 6 times at home now to ****ing Blackburn!!! I want them to stay up now....so we can destroy them next season! lol

Don't think its 6 homes defeats in a row to Blackburn but its not much better, didn't we beat them 3-0 in the 04/05 season, but yes I think we got complacent after winning at Arsenal.
