Waggy deserves his chance, I think his head would drop massively if he was dropped. Surprised Benno is omitted but VERY pleased Lee Hughes isn't starting!

Finally after 83mins we see our 1st sub come on.. The legend that is Euell comes on to replace a very hardworking Hayes!! Seems we've been on top all game with Notts only having 1 shot on target which lead to there goal! BWP been really quiet, but 1 chance and he'll bound to get on the score sheet! Good win, and the Addicks stood up man for man against a pretty physical, and sometimes brutal County team. Love that, after al lthose times when we have been muscled out of games by teaqms of goons.

Didn't expect us to be top after 2 games, I thought with all those new players they'd take time to get going. I was also one of those who wanted Green to start to-day but hey what do I know about the game?

I have to say that achieving the win without Green coming on is the clearest indication yet of our strength in depth. Didn't expect Wagstaff to start, but what a good call, eh? Astute closing down tactics at the end as well - no last minute mistakes. Looks as if CP may be going with a true squad system this season, nobody guaranteed a place, bags of competition and players kept fresh. What a wonderful feeling to be top again and have something to smile about.
