Right boys- anyone making any plans for these two games? I was hoping for both, but now have to be at a wedding in Manchester on Sat 13th so can only attend Colu. Just ordered the tickets- very much looking forward to this one- not normally a place I like going, but think we can finally go and get 3 points this time (I hope).
I am most fortunate to have a sister (a nurse at the university hospital) who lives just ten minutes from both the Nottingham football clubs. Therefore, any opportunity to spend some time with little sis is welcome, plus the added bonus that we happen to be playing at Meadow Lane in the middle of the summer holidays. Not such good memories of the City Ground under Pardew's stewardship, though. As for CUFC: my son's first away match was there two seasons back when we got drubbed 3-0. Three days earlier we had squeaked past Exeter at The Valley. It took some galvanising to get him back again - but he has seen the light and is a fully paid up member of the club now.
I live in Nottingham, so... eh... I'll wander on down to Meadow Lane. Colchester on a Tuesday... let's say 'doubtful'.
I'll be at Notts County, ordered my tickets today. Wanted to go last season, until Sky got in the way
ordered Colchester tickets today my 1st away game since Swindon just didn't bother last season especially the way it panned out
Southend maybe, but Derby to Col U rule ok and back to Nottingham on a Tuesday... I'll put it in the maybe pile.
If I miss a wedding for notts county, you'll make colu on a Tuesday night... Deal? Everyone wins! (I think)
You already said you'll be missing the County match... Isn't Colchester the soulless stadium in the middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere that takes ages to get to and ages to get out of...? Based on the reviews, I'd almost be more tempted to do MK away again, and I don't ever want to go back to Milton Keynes for anything.

... maybe Bury I can do, Rochdale I can do, Notts I can do, Stevenage I can probably do, MK Dons I could probably do but I don't want to, Hartlepool I can do... You had to pick fecking Colchester
Milton Keynes is best visited in the dark, Irish - I saw a couple of concerts there at the Woughton Hall - Annihilator and Bruce Dickinson, and missed the true horror of the town centre in daylight. Love the cows though...
I saw Guns and Roses at the MK Bowl in 1993. What a gig that was! The link roads off the A12 have been improved so getting to CUFC is marginally better.
