Here we go again, away to these guys, made a pass at our Whitt’s years ago, but we hold no grudges! Bottom of the table and sweating on two important players, the type of situation that tells us one thing....we’re gonna lose! Chris Houghton is out if he loses this one, and we will be looking to get back on track! So no goals for us, two for Forest, probable zooming me to rightful position in the Prediction League! :emoticon-0103-cool: Clingon, penis extension is now available on NHS, Know this though...Masky is a doner!

So is this your prediction now, Masky. I guess you might be a doner........thin slices of meat and a bit of salad wedged into two thin slices of something bread-like!!!! Doris has said this before.

As we approach our annual, arboreal adventure, fans travelling from Cardiff to Nottingham by train can rest assured that there are no projected snow storms for the Derbyshire leg of their journey. In fact, Wayne Rooney has his aquad ready with shovels in case there is an unexpected, freak downfall. This is very public spirited of him given the history of 1mm snowdrifts in the area.

As for the game, I'm a bit concerned. Hopefully, the defeat to the Wurzels will have given us a kick in the fundament, but I also worry that an under threat Houghton will have his boys fired up too. I don't think it will be pretty!

    C'mon City

I know it's not "Matchday" yet, but you are allowed to post about it on the thread before it....<laugh>

Given the bad start they've had, I think Hughton will be desperate for a result more than a performance and probably go for the full 3 points in whatever way they can get them. Although Mick would probably be happy to take the one point for a draw, I hope he doesn't set up and play for it.

They say you shouldn't kick a man when he's down but sod it, time to take advantage of their problems. They're vulnerable right now and Hughton could change things in an attempt to stem the tide - more of the same will get him the bullet. Packing the midfield from the defensive selection available to Mick might get us that point, but it won't help getting all 3 unless we can sneak a goal from hoofball over their heads.

Go with Moore (if he's match fit), with Giles and Harris up front either side of him. If he continues with 5 at the back then it's down to the middle two Pack and Ralls being the obvious candidates to keep Forest quiet. Going forward, a lot would then depend on wingbacks (Sang and Bagan) making the overlaps. They can both do it and as long as Pack and Ralls recognise they've gone up and fill in the gaps, we can keep them out and win this.

For what it's worth, I'd give Smithies a shot in goal tomorrow. Phillips cost us that first goal against Bristol City with his dithering. I know I've said it before, but the guy always worries me theres a mistake in him. Smithies is not flawless but he's easily the better keeper overall of the two.

As for Mark Harris, he reminds me of Joe Mason and Rhys Healey who were both lightweights and pretty much faded away....but great hopes for Harris, he should start and give him a run! :emoticon-0103-cool: Car for sale!

Wonder what sparky makes of these odds?
Lots of big numbers in there.
    Looks quite even.

    Nottingham Forest 39/20

    Draw 41/20

    Cardiff 31/20

Don't know where you got them from remote, but pretty much the same on B365. Very even odds there remote spread evenly across the three possible results. This can go anyway so that's a straight 1 in 3 chance. Think I'll stay away from a result punt and try something else.

I usually avoid such an even split on the result and go for goalscorers. Had few bob on both Morro and Flint in the Millwall game.....<whistle> Both are on 13/2 to do it again today - speculative, but maybe worth something for the fun?

If you prefer a straight 50/50 either/or scenario with shorter odds, then 11/8 for more than 2 goals in the game looks a decent bet.

Just saw them in an article I was reading.
    Was intrigued by the granularity.
    Rarely see a /20.
2/1, 2/1, 3/2 would have done it for me.
    Bookies skimming their extra pennies.

I think it means big bucks for them rather than just pennies with some of the money staked - I know someone who regularly makes £10K bets. There's even a couple of lads on the Leeds board who regularly bet in the 100's and 1000's.

I'm happy with 10 or 20 quid now and again for fun. Nothing worse (nor dangerous!) than trying to make money from betting.

I dont like my gravy out of a jar. Prefer to make it from scratch.
Sometimes a bit lumpy but never granular.

Wonder if Smithies might see action now transfer speculation is past.
Or is there a games played bonus in there somewhere?

Bacuna should be used as a bench warmer and brought on if we’re 2 or 3 up.
