Nottingham Forest target returns to QPR LEE Cook's move to Nottingham Forest has fallen through after the departure of Steve McClaren. The QPR winger was training with the Championship club last week with a view to a possible loan move. But the 29-year-old has returned to Loftus Road after McClaren quit the City Ground following a dismal start to the season. Cook has made just one appearance for Rangers this campaign â against Rochdale in the Carling Cup â and was left out of Neil Warnock's 25-man Premier League squad. Not surprised really. Cookie's not up to that level anymore. He could still find a decent League 1 Club however.
Agree with Swords, I think it would be better for Lee Cook to go to a League 1 club where he has a better chance of impressing if he is to have any chance of re-establishing himself in a higher league.
He deserves to go to a club who will appreciate what he can deliver, and to be back playing first team football again. Best of luck to you Cookie!
