I hope the denial of service of NOT606 isn't disrupting peoples enjoyment on here too much.
A jealous competitor maybe?
Even the biggest sites who get these attacks struggle, I hope you will bare with Mick until he sorts it out.
<ok> <ok> <ok>

Theres been two or three times over the past three days I'm unable to get on. Gutted someones trying to disrupt the crack. Not606 will live on!!

It's not hard to understand why, given the potential traffic and advertising revenue if one single site could manage to replace 606.
From what I have read, these kind of attacks are dirt cheap to finance these days, so any a$$hole can fairly easily disrupt any site.
Good luck to Mick in his efforts to defend against them.

This site just aint going to die, because some NEWARK wants it to, all my pals around the world have joined up, one quick email did the trick, supporters of many a diverse team, and like you all, we are I suppose "FOOTBALL UNITED"

Its probably the BBC mods - they are going to be soooo bored atm not being able to get power hungry deleting lots of "non-rule breaking" posts :D

It should be pointed out, Mick is doing all this himself.
He has a full time job and this is his hobby by the sounds of it.
All costs for running the site are coming out of his pocket.

I have said this before he should have a donate button, where if we had a quid or so in our Paypals we could sling it his way.
Or maybe a couple of small and I mean small, click through ad's for the likes of betting sites.

Anyone else have any ideas to put forward?

lads I'm ok for money at the minute, once we make a success of the site I'll see about adding a donate button to keep costs to a minimum but I think it's unfair to go cap in hand now considering the site has been crap in the last 2 days.

P.s. very hopefull this is the end of the issues.

mate you have a great site - not your fault some idiots are trying to spoil it <applause>

Keep up the great work. What’s a little disruption when after getting back online the reading more than makes up for it.

This is a cracking little site this. Its starting to become my first port of call rather than Pure Football over on the SMB. Keep up the good work lads.
