Just came across some interesting stuff about the site. It seem that it has been in existence for about five years now and according to an Amazon subsidiary called Alexa, who rate web sites, not606 is ranked at about 67,000. It had an estimated value of around $122,400 and a daily income of $170. It has roughly 14,000 users per day with 85,200 daily page views. It is ranked as good in the areas of trustworthiness and privacy, and excellent when it comes to child safety.

Not606.com is hosted on a friendly Location in West Mclain, Virginia in the USA. Anyone wanting more info, the link is below.

I cannot believe that there are more than 67,000 sites with a better rating than this august forum. Clearly there has been some fiddling going on here – I bet that Google and Microsoft have bunged the people responsible to make sure that sites without Google and Bing “Backlinks” score badly. Perhaps those on Facebook need to do a bit more to get the “Shares” and “Likes” statistics up a bit, as well as the Twitter count. Who is sharing this on LinkedIn?

Maybe we just underestimate just how big the internet is.

Cyc, I am glad that I am not a youngster in this country today. They can look forward to a lifetime of expensive digital slavery.

Mobile phones and tablets mean that the 9 to 5 working day is a thing of the past, but they won’t be getting paid anything extra for being available 24/7. More hours for the same money – let us see Red Ed fix that “Cost of Living Crisis”.

Most of the internet is full of rubbish fuelled by social media, so they all think they have a thousand friends that they keep in touch with thanks to faster and faster broadband, which they see as some sort of human right.
