    2 Questions really:

Who are you going to vote for player of the season?
    and
Who do you think will win player of the season?

Is this directed at our team or in the league?

Lambert will win it. The only other player with a sniff is Jos.

Several of you on this site have a love affair with Morgan. He's been our best player in the centre of midfield but even mentioning his name in the same light as player of the season is bordering on ridiculous.

    Lambert will win it.
Morgan has been awesome as have all the squad.
The trouble is Morgan does the scruffy stuff. He's that good he goes unnoticed.
He will shine in the Prem That's for sure.

I think you're totally wrong and to suggest that he's not been just as important as Jos or even Adam this season is riduculous in my opinion. We lack creativity without him. IMO he is a cross between the creativity and composure of Cork and the Steel of Hammond.

Sadly across the football world it's goal scorers that get the plaudits. Agreed Morgan won't win it but he has been bloody good.

Agreed. I really think this guy has developed into our most complete footballer.

Schneiderlin has the potential to play football at European / international level. Can't really say that for any of our other players in my opinion - I love Lallana and Lambert as much as any poster on here but Morgan has the full package and keeps getting better

He isn't a creative player, nor is Cork..They have 5 assists between them in the league. They play a more defensive role and in possession they just try to find the wingers or forwards who are the most creative players in the side. Also, they both lack confidence to take a shot on. Morgan is a good long passer to the wings when he's on form, this is by no means under the same category as creative. We don't need or expect this from our central midfielders anyway since we play with very advanced wingers and Richardson as an out and out wingback.

For this role, Morgan hasn't dictated the play well enough or been good enough defensively to be held even close to the same regard as Lambert who has been more effective in his position. This is my opinion. For me, it is hard to separate several players in the number 2 spot but I can't see how Rickie wouldn't be number 1 in everyone's book. Effectively he's acted like 2-3 strikers rolled into one for us, playing the target man role, goal scoring and creating goals for others all at the same time.

Kelvin would certainly be in my top 3 along with Morgan.

Sir Ricky is no 1 though.

So now we all know how Nigel feels when he is trying to select the team. It's not easy, is it? Ultimately, I think it has to be Lambert, not just for the goals but also the assists. The only reason there is any question is because we have so many quality players but as I have said before, "the team is greater than the sum of its parts"

It will be Rickie without a doubt. He has played out of his skin all season and you can see his desire to get us promoted as he wants to play in the PL.

Every side has its unsung heroes and mine are Guly and Morgan but neither will get it.

Wait until this time next year and it will be Morgan on the top of everybodys' list.

I'd vote for either Kelvin or Jos but I think Lambo will win it.
