yet again, another forgetful month but something not to forget was our first win! It was good to end October on a win so maybe the lads can take it into November and we can shoot up the league, plenty of games to come quick and fast now so lets hope our season starts now... Anyway nominations for Player of the month. Bobby Reid won Septembers and Jay Emmanuel Thomas won August. Who will win Octobers? 1. Jay Emmanuel Thomas - Scored his first senior hat-trick for Bristol City and himself and those 3 goals helped us get our first 3 points of the season. please log in to view this image 2. Scott Wagstaff - 2 goals in October, both very well taken goals. Always gives 100% and I think fans are beginning now to see how good he is. please log in to view this image 3. Derrick Williams - Been a rock at the back and has hardly put a step wrong, remembering he is only 21 and this is his first season of proper football. please log in to view this image 4. Brendan Moloney - Scored his first goal for the club in the JPT and after a shaky start to the season he has really settled down and we are seeing the player we saw last season. please log in to view this image 5 Other - Please nominate a player who has not been named and state your reason why please log in to view this image USE THE POLL AT THE TOP TO NOMINATE YOUR PLAYER OF THE MONTH
I don't know whether to give it to JET for his hat trick. Waggy for being the most consistent or Williams...... Think for me Waggy just edges it. Great goal on Saturday and he's been the best performer all month!
Williams for me. A young rookie with zero league experience before this season. JET and Waggers have done well but already have light years more experience to Williams. My second choice would Bobbie "Gerry Gow reborn" Reid.
Wagstaff for me, like you said Shiny he's been consistent where's JET scored that hatrick but sometimes this month just not been bothered. Hopefully that's behind him now.
'fans are beginning now to see how good he is' The last time I saw Wagstaffe was home against Colchester. Are you lot telling me he's stopped running around like a headless chicken. The 1 brain cell challenge at Crewe doesn't give me hope - I'll tell you after Oldham if he's improved.
Think if Williams carries on as he is he'll win Novembers for sure. Going to give this until tomorrow 9pm. Get voting lads!
Williams was our best player today. Did the Ref hate Wagstaff?? I think he gave him one decision in the whole game
