not606 .. Hello from Badtaffy

Been a while since I popped in to Not606, good to see it is still going well and familiar faces still contributing to the best threads online.

Looking forward to this Sunday, it has the makings of being a real thriller. One of the biggest teams in the world worried about little old Swansea, worried that we will once again ruin United's party as we did twice last season. Their record against us is not great, we were the only team to do the double over them last season and I do so love the press afterwards as they start to disect, blame and demonise MUFC.

I am going for a home win with a clean sheet but I will be ok with 0-0 as I think keeping things tight at the back must be a priority this season. We certainly have goals in us this campaign with Gomis and Ayew looking formidable and Montero is on fire, plenty of others will chip in like KSY, J-J Shelvey Looks like we have decent back-up in most positions after victory over York City and most of that new 11 have been regu'lar first team players in past seasons.

Good luck also to Wales RFU against the Irish and also to Lizzie Jones, Wife of the late Wales international rugby league player Danny Jones, who collapsed during a match in May and died on the way to hospital who will sing abide with me before the start of the challenge cup final.

 

I seem to remember you doing match threads on the BBC 606 from some sort of top-secret military establishment...

 

Not so top secret but I did enjoy those 606 days

 

Welcome back bad, good to here from you, agree with your view above though I doubt we'll keep a clean sheet against Manu, but hope your right, I have us down for a 2-1 win but 2-0 would be very nice...............

Wow theres a name I haven't seen in a while. Good to have you back Bad Taff! Im going for a 1-0 swans win tomorrow. Manu are looking solid defensively but are really lacking goals. Ayew and Montero on the wings are going to cause them all sorts of problems.

If only Cardiff had followed their own advice when it came to the premiership rather than just trying to 'finish above the swans' I'm having a bloody whale of a time by here!

 

Hello Bad nice to see you on here again I was thinking about your match day threads when I was doing my feeble attempts on here, you don't fancy coming back to do them on here do you?

Anyway hope all is good with you mate, most of the 606 crowd are still on here, including Dai lol, though there are some missing in action, including yourself unless you stay around.

To be honest I can't access this on my work PC (lunch breakes obviously) but will make the effort as I miss our banter and this is a knowledgable crowd. Here's a prediction he needs a goal or a good assist or two.

As for doing match day threads, maybe down the line if people don't mind.
