Finished where I started 3rd 0.3 off second, guy that won did 4 stops on the xsoft, never saw that strategy working. Unlucky DHCanary 2 stops on the mediums could've got you some good points as the softs had to make 3 at the end.

What do you think we need to do to survive amateur? Score a few points, one point, a 9th/10th finish, or just not go into debt?
Depends on your group. I think I will need some points to survive in my group, and at the moment I'm quite a long way from the points, so it's not looking good

At the moment I am 23rd, two place above the relegation zone, although three people above me are already in negative balance. But I do think I will need a few points to make sure I survive. I am nowhere near getting them in the dry so I think my best bet is getting lucky in the rain, I almost got a 7th place in the last wet race but made a mistake near then end and fell back down to 11th, so I think it is possible. Failing that I think my next best hope for points is near the end of the season when people are in negative balance and can't update/repair their cars properly and hope to sneak a point through attrition.
How did everyones race go?
My race was going OK but then I got a tech problem. Ended up 17th, which wasn't great but still better than it could of been.
Indy is next, and it's a car killer. Quite a few parts on my car will need to be replaced, it's going to cost a fair bit.

Won my second race out of the last 3 and 3rd straight podium. If only all races had 0% Rain chance. Very tight championship, just 2 points separate 1st from 4th. Next race looks like Mayhem, its a coin toss with the strategy and also a car killer. Not good 
I finished second! Currently 4th in the championship, and it looks like we have 2 runaway leaders, and I'm 3 points behind third.
For the next race, I'll dig out the part wear data I can find, and if it doesn't look promising, I'm tempted to almost give up on the race! Save the money and just destroy the car, then hopefully have a strong race next time.

I think im going to give it a miss, especially as the rain chance is 50%! you could end up spending loads and not even getting any points. Plus if I miss this race the worst case scenario will be 12 points off championship leader with 11 races left and a lot more money in the bag.
I'm going to race, but downgrade all my parts to whichever level has the least wear. Trundle around and hope the high wear catches people out and I can steal a point. I'm also tempted to try and get a pole and a fastest lap for the hell of it, and run the extra softs and low fuel.
