Well we're into the last few games of the 2014-15 season now and you should all have been able to make up your mind as to who should win our player of the year award. Please feel free to post your reasons as to why your vote deserves to receive the Player of the Year virtual trophy. No competition in my opinion. John Egan has been brilliant all season. He is the most consistent player and deserves to be player of the year. Bradley Dack would probably be second.
See I've gone for Cody purely because his goals have been so important to us getting anywhere in the table. Don't get me wrong Egan has been a revelation but as Cody has still been able to create goals out of nothing. Egan gets young player award for me.
Eagan after coming in and making an immediate solid impact on the team, when beforehand i felt the defense was falling apart under Captain Barrett. Constantly not606's player of the week/game on his arrival. He more or less single handed turned our fortunes around. The team is not always about goal scorer's and Eagan is our King pin...pun intended.
Without a doubt John Egan. I'd go for Cody 2nd and Dack 3rd. Dacky the clear winner for young player.
Suuuuper Cody, of course! Scored the goals to keep us up, and the only current player that makes me genuinely excited to watch, you never know when he's going to get a goal out of nothing. And he clearly loves the club. Honourable mention for John Marquis - he changed our season when he signed, scoring some important goals in the first few games when we badly needed wins.
If Marquis had been with us from the start of the season and had been consistent all season like he has been since he joined in January then it would be a close one with him for player of the season. Same with Ehmer, he has been brilliant since he joined us and he could be up there however I don't think he has been with us long enough to be close to player of the year award. We have had some great loan players this season with Hause and then Ehmer at the back and then Marquis upfront. At the start of the season I thought our main player would be Loft however hasn't been amazing this season. He has improved towards the end of the season however it has been a slow start from him. However I don't like to criticize players as it is better to back them. I have a feeling he will be much better next season and will be a key player for us. I think with a couple of new additions at full back, Centre back (Ehmer?) and a new striker (Or Marquis permanently) and we could finish in the top 10 and potentially flirt with the play offs. This side has got me very excited and I can't wait for next season as I feel it is really going to be a good one if we get a new more quality players in.
I am not 100% sure but I believe he is out of contract in the summer but I can see QPR keeping him. However if they don't I would love for us to sign him. I don't think signing anyone in midfield is needed however if he is available then I think we would be stupid not to go for him.
