Hamilton: 7 Not flawless in quali or the race, still comes out with his lead intact thanks to an exceptionally fortunate set of circumstance. Great post-restart. Bottas: 1 Anyone find a redeeming feature from his weekend? Woeful quali, still can't overtake. Verstappen: 9 Drops a mark for his quali mistake and safety car spin. Perez: 4 Mainly gets credit for quali, in a "normal" race might look ok. Norris: 9 Without his quali mistake would have been £10. Ricciardo: 4 The differential to Norris was embarassing. Stroll: 7 Post-race penalty coming? Otherwise maximised the weekend. Vettel: 5 Was he that bad himself or just unlucky? Leclerc: 9 Very strong race and racing Sainz: 7 Recovered well from poor quali, maximised the race. Ocon: 8 I'm not sure I noticed anything he did? Could have given him from 5-9 but a good result for him. Alonso: 4 Not looking like the Alonso of old so far, thoroughly unremarkable. Gasly: 8 Had his race ruined by strategy, still got a haul of points. Tsunoda: 3 Not great. Raikkonen: 7 Very Kimi. Giovinazzi: 4 He's got to start beating Kimi. Mazepin: 0 Don't think he was to blame for the collision with Latifi, but honestly so bad. Maybe he had damage, I want to check, but he dropped a minute to Schumacher in 30 laps. Schumacher: 4 One mistake, but the car is a dog and fundamentally looks like he belongs in F1 - unlike his teammate. Russell: 5 He's the new Hulkenburg. Gets into good positions and can't convert. Latifi: 4 Short race ended by his own error(s), but quali was good.
Hamilton: 8 if it wasn't for his team mates crash he wouldn't have finished where he did. Bottas: 4 just didn't get things right and should have seen Russell coming Verstappen: 8 he had a scrappy quali, he could have had pole, then almost loses it at restart. Perez: 4 His head just didn't seem in the race. Norris: 9 he managed to extract every last drop of performance out of the McL other than exceeding track limits an amazing weekend Ricciardo: 6 think he needs more time to adjust - he needs to have ultimate confidence in brakes to get most of his driving Stroll: 5 noting to speak of other than penalties Vettel: 4 struggles with car - not sure he is ever getting his mojo back :-( Leclerc: 8 did a good job, mind you ferrari has improved the car by a big margin Sainz: 7 poor quali cost him Ocon: 6 not sure I saw him Alonso: 5 another who needs more time in the car Gasly: 7 strat destroyed his race Tsunoda: 5 little bit too excitable at moment but promising Raikkonen: 6 not his finest race but hangs in there Giovinazzi: 4 nothing much Mazepin: 3 he was better than 1st race but he needs more practice Schumacher: 2 silly spin but that's lack of experience - ironic that pits closed so he can't change nose. Russell: 7 he drove great over the weekend and was setting up a great overtake until he panicked and binned it. Still think he was out to prove to Toto he deserves Merc drive that pushed him into the move. Latifi: 3 silly mistake

Driving like a champion elect so far Perez: 3 alot went wrong here. Maybe trying too hard. Norris: 9 what a race.
