4.00 Nottingham. DARA TANGO 11-4. Won today after 723 days off and entered quickly again. If it runs, it wins (can't be tired after a 723 days off!). Win bet.

Three to put up for tomorrow

    Nottingham
    1.30 Hazelrig 7-1
This horse has been running into form of late and I fancy him to just get his head in front on ground that will not be a problem to him. Confident is something you can never be in these races but for small stakes it's a live bet.

    Kempton
    7.25 Opera Box 4-1
This is my best bet of the day as the horse ran well when not ridden too astutely last time out and I fancy him to win tomorrow.

    8.25 Set The Trend 11-4
This is a hard one to call as this hors has a class that none of these have ever reached but seriously lost his way. Last time out however he beat Fiftyshadesofgrey, clearly the connections of that horse could not believe it as they ran him again the next day, backed him off the boards and he won easily, making Set the Trend look very good indeed tomorrow under a penalty. If he is back to his old self nothing will touch him tomorrow, can we take it as guaranteed that he is? who knows. It could be the best 11-4 bet of the season or quite the opposite. Worth a punt if already up on the day in my opinion.

I'm with Bluesky on Hazelrigg and also like Rocket Ronnie 20/1 EW in the 3:30 Nottingham. Not the most reliable sort but is well worth an go EW at the price

    16:10 Taunton - Beauchamp Viking e/w

(A very hairy e/w bet at the 18/1 currently available in three or four places. Inconsistent, and a dodgy performer, but might show improvement now on firm ground?).

    GL all today! <ok>

Here's a bit on aforementioned selection from (mostly) P2P trainer Hugo Froud's website:

    http://hugofroudracing.com/news/

Interesting, he seems impressed with Beauchamp Viking's run at Towcester in July? Will therefore increase bet to 10p. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Afternoon all 2 for me today in order of prefrence.
    Nottingham
2.00 DAZZA had an impressive run lto over 6f in heavy conditions leading from around 4f and not looking back in a very good time.
sweeney goes again and is 2/2 with dazza they do unfortunately get the 6lbs extra but the drop in trip should help eliminate that , also they get a very good draw. I managed to get 24s from betfa1r so more than happy ew. I have thrown in fredrica for the rf who was also impressive lto over further and has a great record with jockey.
330 got on this early Lee takes out ARTFUL PRINCE 16s are still available with c0r4l just feel these have a real shout at this and should not be double figures
    good luck all

Don't make much difference, Ron, whether one changes or not, winners are still bloody hard to find! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Oh well, going quite well until badly impeded by a faller late on. Will keep an eye on him in the future, might be able to take a minor event.

Brave Decision should have won that first race at Kempton, Martin Harley must have forgot there is no cut away over 10f, poor ride as it was easily the best horse.
