If I fell in a barrell of tits at the moment I would come out sucking my thumb. On the wrong Venetia horse today. The one I backed jumped like a dog!
I think he's potentially the best horse in training. If he ran in the QMCC, i'd back him. If he ran in the Ryanair, i'd back him, if he ran in the Gold Cup, i'd back him. But only at Cheltenham. I don't think he's as good on winter ground. Realt Mor's jump 2 out killed his challenge and it looked to be shaping into a lovely battle between the two.
Well done 55 I thought they had chose there race wisely and they weren't far off with 2nd prittyasapicture fell when going well and the ew bet clawed back the stakes
I know the feeling stick , I spent most of the flat season doing it , but for some strange reason I have faired better over sticks
If your betting tonight FEDERER at 2-5 has to be added into any doubles of trebles. After this afternoons drama Murray has to beat Federer in straight sets to qualify which isnt going to happen ESPECIALLY as Federer will know he has to win the group to avoid a certain Mr Djokovic. Federer is 11-10 to win in straight sets or a tempting 11-4 to win 2 sets to 1.
A great gamble just landed on Peropolis at Kempton, the horse was available at 10's last night and been backed all the way down to 7-4. The jockey really had a battle on his hands however and was pushed to the line needing to pull lengths clear of the third. Nice to see Amir Quinn trusted to land it as well, I know little of him but nice for a lesser jockey being involved. I always think it must be a real test of nerve when a jockey is told that the money is properly down today.
Nice one Ginger - was told about this horse last night, but in truly donut fashion I forgot till this morning - 4/1 is better than 7/4 but feel very annoyed at myself for missing the 10s
Boston Bob, if you're there, you probably know more about this than I do: Buffalo are at Miami tonight in the late game. Both in an only-average AFC East behind New England, identical 5-4-0 records, two average QB's - OK, maybe Tannehill a little ahead of Orton, but not much - no big-name absences. So why are Miami about 1-2 (1.53 on Betfair)? If I was doing the line in Las Vegas I'd be about 1.8/2.1. Any ideas ? You'll all have deduced that I've been driven to ponder obscure foreign sports in the absence of Premiership and Championship fixtures this weekend. In ten years, will we all look back and wonder what on earth the national leagues were doing when they agreed to suspend programmes for 'international breaks'. Does the prospect of England Reserves against Slovenia (who?) really justify alienating the entire population ? And wait, I see Scotland are playing the RoI - oh, be still, my pounding heart.....
