Afternoon guys I have been told that PEREPOLIS 650 kempton will have a very very good chance tonight has been smashed already but may get bigger near off time. Don't shoot the messenger and GL if you play later
Captain dunne has been good to me in the past so cant not throw a few quid on the old boy in the 3.50 at southwell. Our katie is up against une artiste at clonmel but I think she is worth backing ew at 8s.
Taylor not so swift this afternoon. Although in saying that not disgraced as she only went down by a head. Maybe the old girl will come on for the run and be a different proposition next time. No idea how he rode her but this ‘arrangement’ that Munir has with Jacob is most odd to me. I'm sure Mr Henderson would rather have one of 'his' lads on board.
Jacob is a fine jockey, don't think he can be used as an excuse -the horse may well have needed that -happens every day in racing, but got to credit the winning connections for taking the initiative!
Lovely run from Champagne Fever. Considering the trainer reckoned he might need the race that was pretty impressive
He was very good but I don't have him as a 3m+ 'chaser...very exhuberant. Disappointing run from Sizing and thats his worst finish since the 2008 CH...maybe time to call it a day with the old fella.
He's very exciting but I think he'll be better over shorter than the 3m 2.5f of the CGC..loads of options for him, thats for sure
Dex, I think once has been given a proper lead into a race like the King George, we will see him settle better in his races. I think he was feeling the need to go from the front as was attempted last season. Also think he will settle better when Ruby is back on
Thought that was an excellent comeback run for the Fever and I'm slightly happier now with my 20s for the Gold Cup but I wouldn't get carried away about him staying the trip after that. In fact I'd still have reservations and the reason being that he simply refused to drop in, those tactics didn't work and consequently he spent too much time fighting Paul for his head. However the King George is a different story and I'm pretty certain he'll serve it right up to them in that, where good old Cue Card will give him a lovely tow round
Gamble in the Ludlow bumper - Routine Procedure was 100/1 early doors, backed into 8/1 in places now Favourite Mr Kit Kat into 2/1 from 10s early this morning. These 2 backed to the exclusion of everything else - might be worth a little reverse forecast
