Very interesting runner tomorrow is Urubu D'Irlande. Beat Oscar Rock comfortably in a bumper 2 seasons back then had a run in May this year finishing 2nd carrying a penalty behind a King horse who hasnt been seen since, both pulling a mile clear from the others.

Champion Hurdle debacle aside my big disappointment at this years Festival was the below par run from IRVING who I was confident would see off the Irish invasion. He is better than that, I know he is and he takes the first step on the road to redemption tomorrow. Corals laying him at 2/1 for £20 for the early risers and that's a weekend treat. BLUE BUTTONS 4-1 shouldn't go unbacked in Wincantons 2:05.

Not a betting proposition but the highlight of tomorrow for me is at Naas and the return of Mr Mullin's hugely talented mare ANALIFET. Let's not forget this was the Triumph Hurdle favorite prior to her injury. Hopefully she gets a nice introduction back and comes through it unscathed. She took a fierce grip last season, I see she's hooded tomorrow no doubt looking to settle her down. L'Vent Dantan and Reel Steel clash in another above average beginers chase on the card. This Naas card last year produced winners including THE TULLOW TANK, DIAKALI, ROAD TO RICHES and SHANESHILL so really will be an informative day.

Yet another loss today and what a loss he is, the legendary SOLWIT was fatally injured in a schooling session today :(

Terrible news about Solwhit, what a smashing horse <peacedove> He gave Hurricane some right old toe to toe battles in Ireland a few seasons back. Horrible week for racing :(

I see Joncols half brother goes in the 2m4f Maiden Hurdle...well worth recording this race and the 2m equivalent earlier on the card.

    Very sad indeed about Solwhit.

Rarely do top class horses miss almost two years due to injury and come back to pick up where they left off.

Tribute to the horse and Charles Byrnes.

Could be a very good day for nicholls tomorrow the likes of Irish Saint making his chasin debut should be a very warm order Irving to get his champions hurdle path back on track altho I fancy ROR, the ge has the likes of Benvolio and some very good newcomers!

That aside 2.25 Doncatser - Jack Dexter 5/2 looks a gift will love the soft ground was third in the sprint on Champions day and this is a drop down in class formhim massively should take all the beating

I remember writing something similar about Nicholls runners last weekend wooly - I shall remain curious at this stage.

Solwhit was a tremendous little horse, very sad to hear of his passing.

Oddy he went close three runs when he actually beat a couple of runners home. Last time he stepped out, he had a great knock, he scored a century. He was beaten 115L.

    The Champ is back.

Unbelievable honeymoon in Borneo. I've never had a better time in my life. The wedding was wonderful as well and there are rumours that the groom delivered a terrific speech although I am not in a position to comment on that.

    Nass 2.45 Fine Article. 5/2

Very competitive race but if the rumours are true this horse is sensational and will probably be a fair price today. No price yet so time will tell.

Terribly sad. I think he's been the most underrated horse in training since I seriously got interested in horses. Wonderful animal who would have been a champion in pretty much any other era.

He was superb in the World Hurdle.

You're doing well with them if you can get a tenner on anything! Along with Boylesports, the worst bookie for standing bets.
