Nice one reebs - I've been ****ing about on trains and just caught the last mile .......................
Cool cool ride by Lizzie Kelly. Aubusson impressive, he should win many more races. Well done Reebok!
The Champion Hurdle might just be the making of Faugheen because at that slow early pace his jumping was ****ing horrible to look at - bunny-hopped most of the early hurdles, didn't look a natural hurdler at all. But when he was asked to go about his business at the last 2 he looked much more professional. 5/2 with Ladbrokes for the Champion Hurdle Ladbrokes cheeky ****s have shortened him after that
Beats Zamdy Man, beaten 27l in the Fred Winter. Surprised the bookies didnt pay out for the Champion after that
Some have gone 2/1 Oddy!! I will be backing Hurricane Fly on the day if he makes it there but I expect Faugheen will be the one to beat. 2/1 at this stage is just too short for me.
I don't know what it is but i just can't take to Faugheen. I just don't think he hurdles well enough and does he have the pace for a truly run champion hurdle? He seems to stay incredibly well and has an engine on him but just seems to plop over his hurdles.
I can't believe they'll be taking much at those prices Drever. Gone e/w on Harry Topper in the Betfair Chase but need to pick my son up so will miss it
Good to see you are all as impartial as ever boys The way I read today? The New One: Job done. Faugheen: Job done Both with jumping improvements required for March. Both with reasons why they might or might not win it. Remember, Jezki was beaten twice last season and then peaked on the day and jumped very well. Christmas hurdles will show them at a higher level but ultimately they'll all have to prove it in March.
I would be backing Harry Topper but everytime i do he completely forgets how to jump and runs as if he has my money, in 1p coins, on his back
To be realistic re the Champion Hurdle, Faugheen will be setting the pace and Ruby will get him to set the pace to his advantage. If you just looked at the big boys runs so far this season, the horse most likely to win is Faugheen.
I don't think today has told us anything new about the Champion Hurdle and I don't think we'll see anything until all these horses take each other on. Difficult to compare the two races today but out of the two I was more impressed with TNO
