2:10 Fontwell - Arbeo 8/1 Requires a huge leap of faith to back this one after 4 dismal runs last season. That being said, has slid down the weights and appears thrown in based on old form. Like I said, requires a leap of faith and I'm more hopeful than confident about this one.
I am very reluctant to put anything up at present as it seems whatever I do runs poorly, a crisis of confidence. I have decided to however as I feel the horse has a good chance at a value price and so wanted to share it. Wolverhampton 7.40 I'm Fraam Govan 6-1 This horse is a proven all weather performer and has run his best races at Kempton, providing he takes to this surface at Wolverhampton he looks a cracking price at 6's. I have backed him this evening to win as I generally need something over 10's to back EW but for those happy to show any profit at all I really could not see him out of the first 3.
Have sucessfully backed him on a couple of occaisions over the last couple of years - the key to him is plenty of cut (his 5 wins have been on HVY, SFT, HVY, GS/SFT and HVY). His last win was off 120 at Sandown in March 2013, since when he has run only in Class 3 Handicaps, he's dropped to class 4 today. In summary: weighted to win, down in class, has his ground. Question is whether this is a pipe opener ahead of bigger targets. Best of luck with him
Good morning all. I have a favour to ask. Have a £50 free bet which must be used on the Cowboys v Jaguars game at Wembley stadium on Sunday afternoon. I will admit that I know absolutely nothing about this sport and really don't want to, so any help on using free bet wisely would be much appreciated
It was interesting to hear that Alan King and Mr Ponsonby, the forum’s second favourite owner, are for the moment putting a hurdling career on hold re this one as they think he has so much more to offer on the Flat. Ridgeway Storm looks more than capable of defying a mark of 79 this evening. Those bookie chappies are giving absolutely nothing away re him though and only offer, currently, 2/1 at best.
I'd wait and see if Tony Romo is ok to play. They should win as the jags are terrible but they will win by a lot of Romo is playing.
Morning all, My two for today, both @ Hexham; 12-50 Always Tipsy 6/1 e/w 2-50. Northern Acres 9/4 win e/w double. Happy betting all.
Yeah no problem mate I'll have a look and let you know when the markets are up as there off the board (no betting) until they say if Romo is starting or out again.
I don't know whether to be encouraged or disappointed with that run. Never really travelled throughout the race and just seemed to plug away to finish a not too distant 4th. I'm sure the comeback will have done some good but didn't look too enthusiastic. Might be worth another chance on next outing.
