With every winner the pressure grows but here goes. My money tomorrow is on RIPON ROSE 16-1 Ripon 6:45 who is off bottom weight in this nursery. She gets a whopping 17lbs from the favourite. Her three runs so far have shown that she isn't without ability. Her debut here has produced three future winners whilst run two when she was 5th, the 4th horse Pearls Azinger, 6th horse Millar Rose and 7th horse Café Cortado were all subsequent winners and then her third race has thrown up Atreus, placed twice, and Grey Zeb who finished behind her and has won since. Now racing in Nursery I think its very likely that she has been underrated by the handicapper. Another factor that makes her interesting is that the yard sent out the winner of this race last year with a similarly lowly rated type. I feel she will run much better than her odds and rating would have you believe. It will be very interesting to see if the market speaks in her favour. Fingers crossed.
Is this a wind up? I'm pretty sure Stick won't mind me saying that your nose must be a dark shade of brown. Good luck tomorrow Stick. It looks like someone on here lives hand to mouth if your bets miss the target!
LOL Bob and cheers for the good wishes. I do believe Attivo is a bit of a fan but this has given me a bit of an idea. There are many many good tipsters on here so how about we take turns to be the headline act for the daily thread. I would be interested to see how many of the top tipsters would want to try their luck. I am sure Bob and cracker would give it a go but how many others out there would step up to the plate. I am away for most of September so somebody else will have to take up the mantle. Come on then, who wants a go?
Evening All Just one fancy for tomorrow: 4.45 Catterick Margrets Gift 8/1 (B365) - Last four runs read 2222, seems to keep finding one too good but surely will break the maiden tag soon. Yard stepping up in trip today which does not worry me as even though had no chance with the winner at Ripon last time out, still kept on well to the line. Cheers Trev
It's getting increasingly more difficult for me to stick to my self imposed month betting ban when you keep banging the winners in!
3:00 Ffos Las - Rowlestone Lass It's about time this one got her head in front, three 2nds in a row tells me she is more than ready but just keeps bumping into one too good. Was only beat half a length by the in form Maoi Chinn Tire a few starts ago and on her two other runs since has run with credit and came close to winning but just not managing to stay in front. Just think this could be the day for this one to finally get the win. 4:15 Catterick - Cadeaux Pearl Been in great form and usually always up there contending, had one bad run at Newcastle but excuses could be made that day, a bit unlucky in running and ended up eased down but other than that one run has been going well. Has a recent C&D win to his name which for me is always encouraging. I also think the race he contested at Beverley last month was better than this and he wasn't beaten far that day, a similar run would probably take this race.
I'm going to Ponte races on 17th of this month so I'm sticking to it and waiting till then despite the temptation!
We do Bob Just having a bit of fun, I know yourself and others on here are quite capable of bringing home the rashers! Good Luck
Two for tomorrow at Kempton for me so far. Kempton 7.00 Si Senior 7-2 best odds (may get bigger) I backed this a few days ago only for the horse to be taken out. It looked a highly progressive horse when winning first time out this year but then came up a potentially decent horse next time out. I am hoping this horse can get back on the ladder tomorrow. 9.00 Sleep Walk 4-5 I put this up two weeks as one of the bets of the season as it was due to run in a race at Windsor in which all but one horse was completely exposed. This horse won as easy as anything in a Bath maiden (beat little) by 4 (but could have been 14) lengths. The handicapper basically made a huge cock up in allotting her an opening mark of 65. He then came out last week in a Leicester handicap and won cheekily. I stated when I put her up for the Windsor race that this horse would end up far higher than 65 and the way she was ridden at Leicester told you that connections know they basically have been given a gift. She carries a penalty for the Leicester win and the surface is new to her but as long as he takes to it 71 is still not this horses mark. I think she looks 85 at least. The handicapper knows by now he got it wrong big time and will put her up a lump as soon as he can. I put last week that I had bet as brave as I dare on this gift, tomorrow I will not be quite so confident but still expect her to win if breaking well. She did not do so at Leicester but on the straight track it did not matter. Good luck all
GLee double at RIPON tonight Dr Irv and Mount Shamsan you heard it here 1st on the QT and very Hush Hush stay frosty

Had some time this morning to study the notoriously difficult Irish racing today and have come up with the following 3 selections. 5.35 Roscommon BAY HILL 8-1. 7.35 Roscommon DOESHEEVERSTOP 14-1 8.25 Cork GRANDMA DOTTY 7-1 (NAP) All having their second run after a break and all seem to have decent each way chances at the very least. Also could be nothing but CAPTAINS AND KINGS (6.35 Roscommon) is currently 7-1 from 33-1. Its previous four starting prices were 33-1, 33-1, 66-1 and 50-1. Its also entered in two races at Sligo on Thursday. Will have a punt just in case there's something in it.
