I'm not one for backing at these sort of **** prices but Gimme Five looks a decent bet at 3s in the first at Stratford
Tipperary 18.30. I can't select a horse that has Frank Spencer on board. Never wins for me. So I'm going ew Harry's Princess at 25/1. Tested was beaten 13½l by Marvellous and is best priced 3/1. HP was 4th, only 2½ lengths behind Bracelet in Leopardstown 1000 Guineas Trial (just 1½ lengths behind Balansiya and ½ length behind Avenue Gabriel, with Marvelloue 1¼l further back). Very lightly raced so who knows. Then I'll quietly slip in on Purr Along at 9/4
2 winners and a last fence faller when leading so far for AP today - going great guns, moves him to 110 winners
He is giving horses every chance in all the races I have seen recently, and what impressed me is that he isn't forcing horses to go to soon, but delivering them right where it matters. He is top quality and in great form.
Nothing wrong with them oddy , love my local track , have had some good types there aswell Rock On Ruby, Une artiste and kumbeshwar to name a few
Upset to see Robber Stone break down badly and lose his life today. I tipped him last time out and he ran a cracker although running out of steam and finishing out of the money. He ran too free every time but I would like to think that he was just enjoying himself. He was doing just that again today and I hope his final minutes were not too painful. Its not all about the winning!
Always sad to see any horse lose its life stick and as you say, hopefully he didn't suffer. RIP. Woolly - Plumpton is a cracking course mate, Invictus also won very impressively there a few years back. Alan King likes to go for their Cheltenham bonus
