Yep. One of the lads from GC hacked into the system and hacked into people's accounts taking full control of them. My account was targeted but they failed and I was instantly banned just by the attempt to take control of my account, but that's just the default reaction of the site. I believe about 10 accounts in total were successfully hacked in too. Admin has and still is beefing up the security on this place. If you use your real name on your email address you used to sign up with this site, like me, now might be a good idea to change that and delete any private conversations that you want to stay private. Chances are they'll give it another go soon.
Click on your name at the top of the screen, Sucky. Then on the left hand side you'll see 'contact details' You'll be able to do it there. Did they do anything with your account? They'll have had a gander at your inbox the cheeky bastards
I'm not sure brb says I wasnt hacked but I was deffo locked out of the site. There's **** all in my inbox tbh a few PM's but nothing exciting tbh
You wouldn't believe how many times that I nearly inboxed you something these last few days I know a few Hull lads have been fully hacked.
I'm not sure I wanna know And Fcuk changing email, I'm likely to lock myself out for another 6months if I do that All the Hull lads are lfc hating pissy moaners anyways
Some Southampton and Hull accounts were hacked last night, I shut those accounts down as the process began to take them over. It was a low level hacker attack, meaning they had no access to the control panel, otherwise the site would more than likely be dead. The security has been improved this morning, i shut the site down in the early hours when the hacker became persistent. Improving passwords does not stop a hacker who comes in and decrypts. However, everyone should ensure their password is strong. I would say delete PM's on a regular basis if there is information you would not want to share if a hacker got in. I repeat, I was watching at all times where the hacker was going and what they were doing. Before anyone asks, no you cannot ban a hacker, remembering they are taking over accounts not owning them, so I can only ban the account or potential accounts they attempt to take over. As a last resort I locked the site down, so anyone that was on early hours may have appeared banned. There were no Sunderland accounts that I've spotted yet, that were compromised.
Also as you seem to know so much, you will also know by encouraging people to change their details gives the hacker a hiding place. If you don't know that, then please leave the announcements to me.
I get why you did it, but you haven't posted in days then come on and say why and how it is happening. I've just had to ban an account due to your actions. Your statement although appearing harmless gives a hacker every opportunity to hide, and as I said as you seem to know so much, you would know this surely. Apologies if I seem a bit defensive but I've spent until the early hours and another 5 hours this morning with the site owner trying to sort this mess out. At the moment I'm just not trusting anyone and I'd openly say that includes you, I have a site and people's accounts to protect.
If people are going to change things, please just drop me a hint, I don't need to know the details, I just need to know it's you doing it, thanks, and sorry again if I'm being a tad tetchy.
Mine was hacked, I could reset the password as the email address linked to it was a really old o e which I just never got round to updating as it never even crossed my mind! Pleased I didn’t have much on there by way of PM’s which I never really use. Pain in the arse but at least I’ve got an account linked to a current email address now!
Everyone hates Liverpool that's not a Hull thing. It's a natural counterbalance to how much Liverpool fans seem to think the world loves them. I've asked the world, it's thinks you're a massive bunch of cnuts.
I guess I'll have to find another subject for my amateur photography. Shame. Your thingy had so much character with all those carbunkles.
