Lewis Hamilton, a name many few in 2007 imagined would be echoed within the very upper echelons of F1 Legends. But he joins them, Juan Manual Fangio and Michael Schumacher.

Through consistency, professionalism and outright mastery behind the wheel he became the 3rd 5 Time Champion in F1 History.

But the season isn't over, will he finish the last two races in the form that earned him the HIGH FIVE?
Or will somebody else shine bright before the season draws to a close?

Mercedes will to focused on Bottas. Vettel will win with the pressure off.

It's never happened. First GP in Brazil was in 1972 (official calendar 1973), the last F1 season without a Brazilian driver was 1969. As far as I can see, the entire 1960's had no Brazilian presence on the grid.

Hamilton won't win, if it goes according to form he won't win again this season now the title race is over, however much he might say he giving it his all.

I'm going to take a wild punt on Verstappen because I have a feeling Vettel isn't winning any more this year either.

...And then I accidentally pressed the wrong button and voted for Hamilton. What a plank. Mods, can you fix this?

The poll should now have a "change your vote" option. I'll turn it back off later.

F1 logic dictates that rain predictions for Sundays only apply after podium celebrations.

Hope nobody else gets pole or else there could be a war. Max will hurt somebody he says.. lol

Speaking to reporters at Interlagos today, Verstappen admitted that he was so incensed at missing out on pole in Mexico he wanted to "do some damage to somebody".

"I was mainly very angry because of the problems I had with my engine during qualifying," said the Dutch youngster. "That weekend I was clearly fastest, but for seventy-five seconds I wasn't.

"I was literally pissed off," he admitted, though hopefully using the term "literally" incorrectly. "And of course every little thing that comes with it makes me even more angry.

"I wouldn't even say it, but I could literally do some damage to someone if somebody would say something wrong to me after qualifying, that's how angry I was. Every little thing makes it even worse.

"For me it was not really after the youngest pole record," he insisted. "I don't think Lewis really cares that he's not the youngest pole-sitter, with five titles, you know what I mean? It's not a big deal. Just fighting for pole, that was the target.

"For me it felt like I never really had a great opportunity, compared to some other qualifying sessions where I felt like it was great, a good feeling, and then you're only P3 or P5 sometimes, but it felt like it was a good session. This felt horrible, and then you're still second by such a small margin."

If someone said the wrong thing? Really? He is a child. I think this shows his maturity, or rather lack of, and would suggest those instances on the track he knows exactly what he is doing and is having a dirty driving moment. If he ends up getting hurt or worse, hurting someone else, I will not be surprised. The cars are strong, as we have seen, but in another era he would cause serious injury. I don't believe him either, he wanted the youngest driver pole position.

I am not sure I have heard anyone speak publicly about hurting someone before. In fact, in another sport there would be a fine/penalty for such talk I suspect.
