Genuinely not WUMing, but after being so certain you would get promoted at the start of the season what has gone wrong? Would it have been different if you didn't sack Sven, have the players let you down, or has it been because every team has upped their game against you because of the pre-season publicity. I went to both games against you lot and the first game you showed the steel of a team that could get promoted whilst the 2nd game you totally outclassed us. What has gone wrong?

Egos, a feeling of 'oh we'll easily win this one', pressure from price tag, manager change, unsettled team and teams wanting to beat us more than usual.

Says it all that we do the double over Southampton but Bristol do the double over us.

simple answer with looking into it less. Under sven decent squad with absolutely no width. You cannot win without width.

Dyer and Gallagher, who didnt get a look in under Sven.

Many different factors effected us i feel.
o Openly talking about how we have a blank cheque book
o Spending said money made us a big target for scalping
o Putting almost an entirly new team together
o Svens lack of tactics made us easy to read
o Nigel shook things up, bought in players like the 2 above who were below match fitness due to Sven not using them at all.

We have some stability now, but we will always be the kings of inconsistancy <ok>

We have one out and out winger in Dyer then Gallagher who doesn't know where to play, he can't play up front, he's not quick enough for the wings and he's not strong enough for midfield, personally I want Gallagher rid. Then we've got Ben Marshall who looks the part, but he plays behind the strikers.

I've never been a fan of Gally as people might have noted! - but purely for footballing reasons. If the FA ever brought in a rule akin to American football - i.e you can bring a guy off the bench to take penalty kicks and free kicks on the dege of the area and then take him off again straight after, then Gally is your man.

In the game we love however, Gally is a luxury we can't afford - because in all other aspects of the game he is lacking. My biggest frustrations are his corners, lack of work ethic and petulance. He has no pace but that is not something he can help.

Against Chelsea he took 3 corners - two of them were cleared by the first defenders - not headed away but volleyed. This left our defence stranded up front and the likes of Wellens (pace he has not!) in a foot race against Fernando Torres - only one winner there.

However, the most annoying thinsgfor me about Gally is his ego - and this might just be MY impression, I'll admit - he gives away petulant fouls too much when he has lost the ball to fair challenges and he does not track back enough with any committment - my own view is that because he weighs in with, lets face it, a good number of goals from set pieces, he feels he is one of the teams stars and that 'less gifted' players need to do the hard graft - just my impression, as I've said - but it does infuriate me when I'm watching him.

Must admit i absolutely hate the guy. ALWAYS scores against me on football manager. That Dyer guy is absolutely rapid though i believe isn't he? Do you think he would be able to cut it in the Prem?

Dyer is fast, but his end product is awful 90% of the time.

In addition to the points made by others to why we have struggled, I think Sven was surprised how hard it was to get in the kind of players we needed. He had to pay over the odds for Mills and was forced to sign Beckford on transfer deadline. He failed to sign any wingers at all, something Pearson did pretty much straight away with Marshall.

He got players like Kasper and Fernandes because they'd worked with him before, as well as Johnson and Ball, but for the most part, couldn't get the players from the Prem he hoped for and had to pay too much for top Championship players. Pearson won't do this in the summer - if stupid money is mentioned, he'll just move straight on to the next target.

gally is becoming a sick note, a decent car you can't get out of the garage, his contribution gets less and less with every season, will not put his foot in anymore cos he don't want to get more injuries. will become surpluse to requirements very soon.sad but true.

but if dyer had an end product he would be in the premiership, same with the Kebe's and Adomahs of the game. I like dyer a lot, a real livewire.

And beckford is the worst player i know.

I have said this before aswell

If Dyer was more consistent and had better end product he wouldnt be in this league
