Here is a list of players I wouldn't have touched with King Kongs wanger

    Zamora
    Johnson
    Wright-Philips
    Bosingwa
    Park
    Barton
    Samba
None of these players have contributed anything much to the team/club since they signed and never will because they were signed in panic mode, you would have thought lessons would have been learn't from season 1 in the prem but clearly not.

Zamora and Johnson have horrendous injury records yet they both come on 4 year contracts MADNESS,SWP,Bosingwa and Park are clearly past their sell by dates but again signed on long contracts MADNESS part 2.Half a season with Hughes in charge and couldn't buy a win and the team looking like they don't give a **** MADNESS part 3.

Barton even getting anywhere near the hoops MADNESS part 4,Signing Samba on a huge contract after going down with Blackburn and not setting the world alight in Russia MADNESS part 5.Next season the mistakes have to be rectified and quickly otherwise those thinking we will walk it will again have hopes dashed. The players mentioned simply have to go in my opinion as they represent everything that is wrong with us at the moment.Samba came with a big reputation but for what? That first half at Fulham was amongst the worst defensive displays from a center back I have seen in many a year.

The jury is hung on M'bia for me as he on his day can be immense but not on his day can be a liability but his dives provide some light relief,Granero has been a MASSIVE disappointment for me as he promised lots early on but yet another player Hughes ruined by constantly playing him out of position.

Hoilett is another one who people were very excited about but has delivered less than a blind postman and again is probably on decent contract/wages,Yun Suk-Young where has he gone???.Ben Haim was another signing that was wasted as he rarely gets a look in even when Samba and Hill clearly have no understanding of each other.

The board needs to dust itself off and take on the chin the mistakes made in the last 2 seasons and start from scratch and not allow agents to hold them to ransom and DON'T buy players on past reputations as that clearly hasn't worked and never will.Last but no means least is "Arry" now he can't be blamed for relegating us as sadly the chubby warbler was already stretching her larynx in January in my opinion BUT some of his team selections/tac-tics have also bemused me.Some will say he only had what he inherited but he brought in Samba,Townsend has been a fab signing but I fear he will go in the summer and Jenus has done his bit since coming.

The last 18 months have been frankly terrible except for the spurt at the end last season but Hughes in hindsight should have gone then as it was his tactics that got us there in the first place, anyway that's my tuppence worth on recent times and onwards and upwards hopefully.

Im happy with Park and Samba even though both can get better, the others are a complete waste and I hope they are gone ASAP.

All of them are 29 or older too which clearly shows why signing old players is a bad idea, you need one or two experienced leader types and thats it. The rest should not be on their last contract.

I think Bosingwa has played very well though no doubt we pay too much for him, and also while we probably pay too much as well for SWP his speed has always been useful and if (a big if after his op) he maintains it he will be useful to have in the Champonship. The rest I agree with you on Ade, though I read somewhere today Harry would like to have Barton back for the Championship - as a player by itself I agree, but at what cost in terms of red cards otherwise? I would also add Cesar and Green to your list of players who are past their best. Park must be our worst ever signing, clearly written off as the pensionist he is, before he even left Manchester, and Samba has been poor while with us.

Hoillet and Granero are still young and hopefully can recover their confidence and form that they have clearly lost with us.
