This boy Luiz looks like becoming the new Kalou or Mikel for a section of our fans.. He cops all the grief, even when other defenders play just as badly, and he gets no praise when he plays really well, which he did last game. Cole, Ivan, Azpi all made mistakes, just like every player on the pitch. But zip from the critics about Luizs' good work. I'm sick of it. Luiz is one of the best players we have. Get off his back and get behind him. RDM got behind Mikel and did wonders for his form, and now even some recognise that Kalous' stats show he was by no means a bad player. Just easy to put down. I wish all our players had Luizs' drive, enthusiasm, energy and skill. What I love about him is that he has a go. Not sure who said this, but it seems apt when discussing Luiz. Oh and before the genius' come in, it's not about football, but life. If you aim low, you will always hit the mark. If you aim high, you just might succeed.
I am a big fan of his, at times he scares the crap out of me but is getting better at not doing that . I think his attitude on and off the pitch shows his great love of football and life. Definitely one to watch in Chelsea's future for me.
JT and Cahill will be our best partnership. With Mikel now banned I think we should stick Luiz in his role.
I'm with Drogs on this, would love to see Luiz tried in Mikel's role. He seemed to play in Midfield towards the end of Wednesdays game. Or was that just because it was a complete nothing game and we thought we'd **** about a bit?
Some will hate this but we missed Kalou this campaign in Champs league. People always focussed on his goals, not his work rate, tackling, pace that spread open defences, if not for him but someone.
i will never forget that penalty, the one that really really mattered, f*ckin buried it !! he will always be great
