Now I know where many would like us to go but Bruce says he wont walk and Short asks for patience, does that mean be patient until after the Blackburn game, who knows.

Anyway, back to the game, one that left me speechless. We started with Richardson second striker and say what you will but we looked OK. Battled for every ball, looked sharp and up for the fight and within 9 minutes we scored.

We then created chance after chance and Wigan rode their luck, I said to the man next to me, we will score a cap full, then.

Well I'm not sure what happened, we just stopped doing what we had been doing, Wigan grew in confidence and we fell apart. Our reliable defence started to rock and make no mistake, Wigan are not a good team, we however made them look world beaters.

Moses started to run rings round O'Shea so Larsson backed him up and gave the penalty away. I was right behind it, have not seen a replay but it looked a penalty, 1-1.

Second half we just got worse and worse and Bruce new, we all new, a draw was no good so he gambled and lost. He should have left O'Shea on and gone three at the back, but does it matter, it was never meant to be.

I cant see how Bruce can continue and don't think its will he go, its now when.

No insults from me, don't think they are deserved, Bruce is, IMO, an honourable man and a proud man who has done his best, just no longer enough.

We could beat Wolves and Blackburn but I still don't think its enough, all I hope and pray for is if he goes we don't see O'Neil come in, Hughes yes but O'Neil not for me.

Its a sad day for me, a very sad day.

"Bruce is, IMO, an honourable man"

Lets hope he does the honourable thing! Falls on his own sword.

Kean was honorable, Bruce is a different story, waiting for his pay out, you will need a wrench to unscrew him from the railings

Judging by his past managerial record id say honourable was not the word that springs to mind. Huddersfield less then a year and a half, Wigan 2months 1st time round, Crystal palace 6months, wudnt go as far as mercenary however a slightly better offer comes along and loyalty goes out of the window.

Coincidently something todays opposite manager knows a thing or two about.

I like Syd have always tried to see the positives rather than the negatives. However, I am still trying to find the positives from Bruces subsitutions and subsequent team formation.

Wel Syd if he has lost the faithful like yourself, as you have stood by him longer than most...it really is time he went.
