One game does not make a season but yesterdays result could be a costly one come next May.We could and should have won yesterday given the chances we had.Defensively we were all at sea yesterday several times a fairly ineffectual Hereford attack were able to get the ball to bobble around in our penalty area luckily Purse was on hand to clear it away (on too many occasions). At times the passing was very poor, the obsession with unecessary back passes nearly cost us and just the general level of concentration was lacking.Okay could just have been a poor performance, but a half decent team could have punished us yesterday.Unless the consistency improves to get some kind of decent run,I fear the worst.Standout performances yesterday:purse,Hemmings and Chadwick.Just hope Fletcher is able to make some effective signings in January.Off yesterdays performance we are going to need them.:emoticon-0112-wonde

It does seem that we have one step forward and then one back again aka. Rather than the Northampton result and performance being a blip I can only hope yesterday's was. We were generally poor all around the park. Poor officials does not disguise this. If I were to take any consolation from it at all it would be that this time we got a point back rather than throwing them away in the last 10 minutes. That in itself made a change. We are desperately going to miss Purse over Christmas just when we needed him most. I watched the sending off today on the highlights as I actually missed it live. For a man of his experience what on earth went through his head. If giving a rating on the game I would give Argyle a 4, Hereford a 4 and the officials a 3 two of which would be for turning up and their kit being tidy.
