please log in to view this image As fans there isn't much we can do about McInnes, We can call for his head but Steve Lansdown and co are the people who decide when his times up. I've come to the point now where I can't stand the sight of DMc. It's getting like it was towards the end of Millens time here. I'm starting to get pissed off with everything he says and does. His tactics, Formation and selections are just so so very wrong. We can see they're from the stand but the person the club pay to do the job can't. Anyway I don't want this to become another thread about how bad McInnes is but we have a big game Saturday. Although some may not support the manager now we must go down the ground supporting the players. They need us to get behind them and be the 12th man. We're mad now but that Saturday feeling will kick in when you wake up next week. So lets just focus on supporting Bristol City. As fans we do our bit by supporting our club if the players/management don't do there's. We cant be at fault. Come On You Reds please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
He has until the end of Jan for me. Time is no longer on his side. I've defended Del and still hope things can change, but am beginning to doubt it. When you see the likes of Ipswich coming in for Aaron McLean and David McGoldrick (yes I know DJ Campbell was recalled by QPR) you realise just what we are up against, especially with Danns back at Leicester Up The City
SL has to say i back him if we go down,he will not be happy at the mass exodus of ST holders and pay on the pay on the day fans+ the vast difference in tv revinue. No brainer really, but the man at the top must be thinking hard and long tonight. The worst record under his chairmanship and ownership.
I have wondered for quite some time now as to what is happening behind the closed doors at Bristol City. Obviously we don't want our club to air their dirty laundry in public but surely they have some degree of commitment to the supporters? Steve Lansdown is clearly a very astute businessman who has succeeded where others have failed, and I'm sure his success is down to hiring the right people and giving them targets for the benefit of all and under performers are shown the door. So why have the people he has employed over the last few years not come up to standard and continue to miss the targets that they have been given, such as reducing the wage bill and player personnel. Have they not listened to their mandate or are they just not good enough to see the task through to it`s required conclusion. Clearly there is a bit of both in the current situation but still the glaring deficiencies are not being sorted. I don`t see or hear any sign of panic coming out of Ashton Gate and that gives me an even more frightening feeling that maybe we are just going to be left to wallow in the mire. Are their secret meetings going on behind the walls of fortress Ashton Gate ,of which we are not aware, where the subject of a new manager are being discussed and potential candidates contacted. We`ve all heard the expression that short term pain inevitably leads to long term gain but that adage seems to have disappeared from the vocabulary of Bristol City who continue to let our short term crises run on forever.
have the players got clean sheet bonuses and goal bonuses in their contract? maybe the board have said they can't pay the bonuses due to low attendance figures and therefore the players are on a 'half-strike'
'Not Much We Can Do' Fans have the ultimate weapon, but rarely use it. Stop going. Nothing focuses the thoughts of a club more than a drop in attendances. It is often the trigger for change. If we at Rovers had an attendance of 3,000, or you had an attendance of 7,000 (just for one week), you'd see change.
