So another poor start to the season! But how considering we have the same players and manager that ended so strong last season?

A few bad apples are starting make comments on twatter! that for one is not going help.. Need to get rid of ASAP..

Also attendances are falling and feelings of another poor season already setting in..

JW needs to use all of experience now to install some confidence back into the players and if possible, bring in a winger and fast paced striker!

we are finding it increasingly more difficult to score and dont seem to have any answers with the current squad of players we have!
This needs to be a top priority for JW...

And for those certain players that have to much to say, considering they are earning well above what they deserve and are a waste of space! LEAVE its simple...<doh>

its all very strange isnt it. same players apart from tounkara, hitchcock & anyinsah. are we really missing these players?

obviously we have been hit hard with injuries. this has meant we have had to rely on youth until the injured return. we have used our wage cap on securing the services of o'toole, mildenhall & mcchrystal as well as giving smith and others improved deals. we cant get rid of unwanted players until injured players return. now we have injured players returning like clucas, clarke and gill, ward can show some the door. gill has already been told he will be off. kenneth is on his way out. i think clarkson may be as well as he isnt in wards plans for some reason! they are all on high wages. this will surely allow us to get in maybe 3/4 players or more. exactly what we need.

gill going: with have enough replacements - norburn, o'toole, clarke & clucas.
kenneth going: we have lockyer who i think is a great prospect. CB is his main position.
clarkson going (my guess): if this happens we must get a fast striker. think ward dont like the position attacking midfielder which is clarksons position. i think ward would prefer o'toole to play in that position anyway. clarkson also has fitness issues.

so with gill & kenneth going, their wages will be enough to get in a decent winger, maybe extra cover at CB if ward thinks lockyer isnt ready yet and clarksons money will get us a good striker and still have enough for positions to strengthen.

when we scored yesterday we were dominating for a period and should have got another! isnt it funny that when we actually attacked (we had to as we were losing at home) we played better and could have and should have scored 3! why dont we start games like this?

No Broghammer, Brunt and Harrold carrying injuries, Richards probably carrying an injury too. I think we probably do miss Anyinsah because sometimes he could unlock the door.

I think things will improve, but it's alla bit deja vu.

wrexham are struggling in the conference. no one in league 2 took a gamble on him. cheltenham did give him a trial and they didnt want him.

when we let him go at the start i was thinking we did the right thing in letting him go. i bet his wages would have been a bit on the high side too. on his day he was good but too injury prone like gill.

but in hindsight, seeing our wing options at the moment, maybe we do miss him!!

I just don't think Anyinsah is ambitious enough. He was definitely capable of playing to a high level in League One at one point. (I remember him playing really well against us for Carlisle) but he hasn't fulfilled his potential.
