The Shields Gazette formerly known as the South Shields Gazette, is today reporting on some of the Yobs who were involved in the Derby day clashes in January. The usual rubbish spouted by defending solicitors too much to drink etc., but one made me chuckle. He described how his client climbed onto a van, might have been a police van and pulled the light off, he then started to shout Colloquialisms at rival supporters.<yikes>

Colloquialisms are just everyday words or phrases such as 'Night night' or such. You know what it means but the two words together don't say anything unless you know what they mean.
