****ing hell RR are you going to keep banging on bringing up more and more new threads regarding you wasn't happy with SC appointment?

He wasn't my first choice but he's manager of the club I love so I will support him until I see that he's damaging the club I support.

You was ****ing in your socks with SoD promising us he will take us far, you didn't lie there just it was backwards.
He possibly turned out to be one of the worse managers based on statistics but you still ****ed over him. If we got a new milkman at AG you put it down to SoD's pulling powers.

I would say I want nothing more than SC to do well at our club but that's a lie now, I would love him to win a few and watch you trying to sing his praises claiming he always was your choice.

Here is another link for you to watch Red Robin

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCSISi4wNyY

He started with Forest in trouble and finished the season with them finishing 19th and ten points clear of relegation. Right now, offered 10 points clear of relegation I would snap your hands off.

Lets give the bloke a chance.

The board approached him on Thursday - so at least it looks like they had a plan.

Well if they did, it'll be a first.

Faceless, rank amateurs the lot of them and for crying out loud why have we given SC such a long contract ?

Only 2 weeks ago JL was telling us we would all need patience to see through their last plan??

Their only plan is to panic..

    They can't win can they?

Half of the people on here wanted them to get rid of SoD - they do and that's wrong.

SoD had a 1 year rolling contract - some people on here moaned about that - Cotterill has a 3.5 year and that's wrong.

SOD was not delivering the goods - thats the bottom line.

Yes SC's contract is too long, especially taking into account todays financial climate.
It makes you wonder where SL disposed of his brains, but this is all irrelevant in relation to SC's capacity to succeed.
He has a history of getting good results with little resources, and could definitely succeed here with what he has at his disposal. In fact I would say he could well be exactly what we have been crying out for
